Just Keeps Getting Better

It does everything it needs to do and new features are always being added.

Difficult to do some basic functions

Has anyone had any luck trying to make a digital transfer smoothly and successfully? Like Venmo or CashApp? Trying to use this for business and basic things done at other banks are quicker and easier. It’s a shame. Customer service is great and no fees for certain things, but in this digital age the process shouldn’t be so difficult, especially to DEPOSIT money.

The App

i love your bank and the people and customer service but have to say highly disappointed with the app. compared to the many bank apps i use this has the least to no features. No zelle, no instant transfer from business to personal or any other acct for that matter. there is a transfer tab but won’t allow you to put in a acct to transfer to.

Great App!

It’s very user friendly. It provides most of what you need. The navigation ability to different tabs super easy. I haven’t had any problems or experienced bug issues.
I own a business account with NBKC. Customer service it’s easy to reach except on the weekends, they are closed. They can be reached through the app as well. In every experience I’ve had in speaking with someone I have never been disappointed. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Very respectful and kind as well, they will go out of their way to ensure your issue or questions are resolved or answered.

Highly impressed!

Recently switch to NBKC from Chase. At first, it was not off to a great start. There was a issue with my debit card and it never got ordered when I opened my checking account, they were quick to send an sincere email letting me know of the issue, when k called in about that issue I spoke with Jade, and this goes without saying, SHE WAS AMAZING! Made me feel like this bank actually cares and not only that, we talked on the phone for about 40 minutes and it was just a great experience! I’m moving to an online only bank, and it’s people like Jade that make me feel even better about it! I finally got my debit card and even got a personal letter from NKBC Bank from Robyn G, telling me how sorry they were and they even sent me some counter checks to make sure I still had access to my money before my debit card arrived! The people on the other side of that phone truly cares about your relationship with them! This review alone is not enough to say how thankful I am for the people who answer the phones! They not only do their job, but they exceed exceptions by any measure!

It’s ok, but could be better

It’s not super intuitive on how to use, and it could really offer more options through the app, such as being able to request a new debit card/checks via the app, pausing the card if lost, and definitely easier access to e-statements is necessary. Most recently, I couldn’t get my e-statement to print from the website or the app. Not sure if that’s because I haven’t had much activity beyond a few deposits, but I needed one for documentation purposes, and couldn’t get one to print at all, which was very frustrating. It would ask me to put in a date and not allow anything to be entered or chosen. I even tried from two different browsers.

Easy to use

It is nice to be able to check my banking from my phone. Money transfers between accounts and making deposits is easy too.

NBKC Bank

I love this bank! Easy! All Digital and includes debit card. I only receive direct deposits or electronic deposits. Works great for my small business. If I dealt in cash it would not be so easy because there is no local way to deposit it but that doesn’t apply to me. Highly recommend

Decent but sometimes frustrating.

It’s pretty intuitive. I like many of the fast features and Face ID ability to log in. However, what is super annoying for power checks is when you deposit online, you have to write “for mobile deposit” on every single one. Every single time. No other online bank I’ve used requires this. Also, they continue to lower APR frequently. When I initially signed up I was earning about 1.5%. Currently I’m at like 0.4%. So yeah, glitter will eventually fade I guess.

Over the top customer service

I don’t write many reviews and it takes a jaw dropping experience for me to write one. Recently I had that experience with my bank, NBKC Bank.

NBKC Bank is by far the most progressive medium sized bank with no fees whatsoever. Great on line technology, great rates, but most important to me, unbelievable customer service.

I recently bought a property in an all cash transaction and had forget to set up the wire for closing day, but one call to Toral, my favorite teller, and she made it happen that day so the closing was not postponed or worse giving the seller an out on the transaction. This lighting fast response never would have happened with any of the large banks for sure or frankly with any other bank due to size of the wire.

NBKC Bank knows their customers and can turn on a dime to help you out. The key here, Toral was willing to help out and was not bothered by my last minute request; she just made it happen with a smile and a great attitude to help me out due to my oversight.

And I’m sure it took much effort and maneuvering to make this happen when receiving a five alarm call from me at 11:30 am on the day of closing. If you want no fees, great technology, and superior service hands down, or I should say “jaw dropping customer service,” NBKC Bank is the #1 choice.
