Terrible app.
How one would trust this company with such a crappy software is beyond me.
It doesn’t work at all on my iPhone which is up to date.
On my iPad it doesn’t support multitasking, split screen or even slide over. So you want to force the parent’s attention away from the child since they have to abandon the app all the time to get other things done.

Ridiculous
Absolutely hopeless. The app now just crashes on opening. It’s so annoying when we buy these products but the companies provide no level of ongoing support. I think it’s time to replace them and stop buying Withings products. If you want some advice, avoid these cameras now at all cost as the apps just don’t work. In fact, given how they treat their customers with so little disregard and can’t be bothered to fix apps when people have spent hundreds of pounds on cameras they don’t deserve our business. Very Frustrated
I was a fan of Nokia before because they used to make good and durable phones so when I was shopping for a camera for my daughter’s nursery at Babies R Us and I saw this Nokia home camera on the shelf I didn’t even have a second thought on buying it. I was so excited to start using it but I was extremely disappointed and frustrated! The video quality is crap. And no it’s not my internet connection because it’s working perfectly fine on all our other wifi devices. The app keeps shutting down so we have to keep resetting the device almost everyday. I like that this home camera has white noise because my daughter can’t sleep without white noise. I always set the white noise nonstop whenever I put my daughter down for a nap or to bed at night. Since the app keeps shutting down the white noise goes too and guess who wakes up everytime the white noise turns off? My daughter! Sometimes the app stays on but the white noise turns off by itself even though I set it nonstop. Sometimes it turns on by itself I guess when it reboots I don’t know. Sadly, I can’t return this and get a refund since it was a final sale from Babies R Us when they were closing down last year. I don’t know if it’s the device or the app but they need to fix it because the device is not worth a penny! Please don’t buy this piece of crap unless Nokia or Withings fix the issues! Nokia has destroyed this product
I’ve had this product for 3 years now. When it was Withings, it was fantastic, I was very happy. Since Nokia has taken over, it has gone downhill fast. It disconnects almost daily, won’t record video - and there is no way in hell that I am now paying for a subscription for a feature that was previously free. Customer service is ridiculous - 5 days of speaking to me via email in nothing but riddles, and asking me the same questions over and over. I suggest you fix your app, fast.Show lessMaresa1981
Wow, what a waste
Seems like decent hardware, but the app is incredibly buggy! I’ve tried everything- relogging in to my account, restarting my iPhone, reinstalling the app, turning off various things like cellular data, wifi, Bluetooth, etc.... All of this on a brand new iPhone XR and a solid home network.
I believe that I have tried every permutation of possibilities to get this horrible app to stabilize to no avail. It decides when it’s going to work and how long it wants to work, then flakes out. Really Nokia? In 2019? I’d cut it some slack if it was 2002, but there is no excuse now.Show lessBassphil
Good device
I use the Nokia Home Security device to monitor dogs while away and the air quality, using the app. It works perfect, can listen and talk to them. Also, can see when air becomes polluted, like when applying air freshener or other chemicals or too much dust (very rare). If I want privacy just turn camera off by rotating the ring over the camera and it just monitors air quality. Great app on my iPhone.Show lessijmen2017
Never works
I had zero issues for the first couple months of the app back in May 18’ but now it NEVER works. App was updated recently and it’s worse than before!!! I hate that I bought a $150 baby monitor and I can never see or hear my kid. Don’t buy Nokia products. Don’t download this app. It’s a waste and listen to the reviews. And if your wondering my WiFi is great so it’s not a connectivity issue.
UPDATE: I got it to work every couple days after my last review and then again another POINTLESS update that now causes the app to not even open anymore. I’m so sick of this app. Why bother putting out an update that’s going to make it worse every time?Show lesssavsark
Updates causing issues
We've had Withings Home almost a year now but it seems with the latest app update, live streaming keeps disconnected and then reloads again. Nothing else has changed at home, router is fine and connected via LAN. Internet service has not changed either. Now motion detection not working after firmware update to camera.Show lessgarbagetnt
Beyond useless
Like so many other people I have experienced this app to be non-functional.
The live feed does not work. The ability to review video does not work. The ‘customer support’ is not effective, efficient or able to diagnose the issue.
The only thing that does seem to work is the notifications. I get them, but cannot see what caused them.
