  • Disappointed with CANCELLATIONS

    14Apr Sunday approximately about 7pm, I made a booking to Sembawang Hill, which was promptly accepted. After 10min, it was cancelled.

    Retried another booking which was again promptly accepted, but somehow cancelled after a few minutes.

    Retried for the 3rd time, promptly accepted. After a few minutes the driver called me to cancel as he was too far away and wud take him about 20min to get to me. Little did he know that he was nearby as tracked.

    4th time rebooked, promptly accepted and after a few minutes it was once again cancelled. I had given up hope about retrying as I thought that I been blacklisted by your company.

    My mate who was with me, patiently tried for the 5th time from his phone. Once again, promptly accepted and cancelled after a few minutes.

    My two mates and I were very late for our dinner appointment. It was a total disgrace and disappointment which was an embarrassment for everyone.

    You are in the transport business to take passengers safely from points A to B at a reasonable fare, but yet I cannot understand the attitude of your Drivers.

    You have lost me and my many friends as customers of Go-Jek until assurances are given to customers that YOU and the drivers would honor your pickup once when accepted.

  • Constant updates to app, but not customer service.

    Biggest problem with the app is drivers are constantly asking for more money than the actual cost of the trip, and they waste insane amounts of customer time in the process.

    On a near daily basis I waste maybe 30 - 90 mins just trying to get around Bali.

    As soon as a competitor comes into this space with good customer service, GoJek will have to step their game up significantly. The company does not yet do a good job of protecting customer interest.

  • It’s been fantastic

    I downloaded GOJEK after having issues trying to sign up up with a competing company. The other company said they needed all my Facebook contacts to sign up. So I declined and went with gojek. Out of twenty or so rides in a month I’ve only had one issue and it was minor. I highly recommend these guys.

  • Go food suggestion

    Can you make “similar to your history/ fav menu”?

    Sometimes if you travel and you want to order similar meals that you used to order when you are in hometown, you can’t find it.

    Maybe take advantage of tag like “ayam bakar”, or “nasi padang”, and you can find similar nearby area where you travel at.

  • Lost item. Worst design

    Something that ideally wouldn’t happen but does... often happen... Leaving behind an item in a Taxi. I Forgot my wallet in a go jek cab a morning driving to the office. Found out just after I closed the door and the taxi was gone. No way to contact the driver. Called the help center. The App should allow you to call the driver in such cases (including compensation to driver for extra course to be fair) but nothing is planned for such a common case. You can call an overseas call center that will refuse to give you the driver’s contact and will send you an email *4h* later stating they couldn’t contact their driver (who’s primary way to be able to work is with a working phone). By now the wallet and its content had disappeared. Surprise. A very costly and annoying situation that could be easily prevented if we were dealing with modern mobile technology and both parties had a working phone. Wait, what?

  • It’s ok

    Not recommended for tourist specially if they don’t understand Indonesian language or the way things work in Indonesia because apparently most of the reviews are about paying more than the app. But if u do understand indonesia then this app is good for u. It has promotions everyday, transportion for short to medium distance here is cheaper than grab but I’d choose grab for long distance as it is cheaper and safer. You will get things easier with gopay as there are more discount and less money changes. It does have some problem when you order food far away because you have to wait for quite some time before someone accept the order. Other than that, it’s a good app, I have been using it for 6 months and the biggest problem I have had is that one time I ordered a car driver but he missed the location and have to drive a long way before the U turn but then he asked extra money for gasoline and yeah I gave him the money but I also put bad review on him.

  • Thief!

    We stay in Alila resort uluwatu t, I call a driver pick my friend up since I am using the hotel van. My friend didn’t speak Indonesian, so we order a go-car to pick them up from Alila to a restaurant. The app says the price is below Rp. 50 thousand, but the driver asks my friend to pay Rp. 300 thousand. My friend call me to asks why he is charging more than what the app said, when I speak to the driver, he said because Go-jek doesn’t cover Uluwatu area, so either we pay up or he will drop my friend on the side of the road. I complaint to the customer service but no action was taken. They said they talk to the driver and the driver said he didn’t charge us more (we pay in cash since we don’t have Indonesian e-payment). We are staying in a hotel that costs Rp. 10 million per night, they think we will lie to them just for a 2 hundred thousand Rupiah. No action was taken. Do not use this service! Use Grab instead, much much cleaner and better service. DO NOT USE THIS APP! YOU WILL BE TAKEN HOSTAGE! Use “grab”, Trust me!

  • Don’t use them.

    I ordered food from go jerk as we had a long day out in Ubud and just wanted to get some food for my family from Johnny Rockets. Our order was two hours late and missing two burgers. The driver counted the cash never gave me a receipt and then cancelled my order. I have complained to the site but I don’t hold much stock for getting a refund for the incomplete order. We were ripped off. The guys made $20 NZD off us by not ordering all of our food and taking they money. Dishonest, deceitful and just a big con.

  • Malfunctions!

    I ordered go-food and the order disappeared, so after a while of trying I assumed the driver must have cancelled and I ordered again. This order also disappeared, at which time I realized the app was malfunctioning. I paid the first driver and had him call the second driver to cancel, because I did not have any pulsa to call on my phone. However, the second driver still came and was very upset because I did not have enough money to pay. Then, when I tried to click “need help” on the application, that function wouldn’t work either! I think that Grab is a much better application after this experience.

    Not very user-friendly.
    Placed order for recommended local restaurant. No drivers available & unable to recover order.
    Not recommended.
