Too many intrusive notifications ads
This app would be good, if not for the constant intrusive push notifications ads. Seriously. It gives so many notifications *cough* ads *cough* throughout the day. At first, I don’t want to turn off notification in iOS setting because then it wouldn’t give me notification when my driver pick my order up. But it become annoying to a point that I turn off the notification in iOS setting then start using rival apps (the rival is not as annoying as this app).

Crashing Problem
I have been trying to open, re-install the app for many times. And yet the app always crashes and never get to open. It’s so frustrating. Maybe you could consider separating the app, go pay alone, and the rest in the same category. Or install a better app that doesn’t crash all the time. ThanksGoo hae ra
Epic! (Except for the pointless points)
Having used this app in Bali for 5 years, it deserves a 5-star rating from me!
In my experience, it’s an invaluable resource for convenient transportation and ordering anything anytime, from electricity to es kelapa.
One gripe: Go-Points used to be worthwhile but now they are pointless. I should have redeemed an awesome offer last year because now it’s so stingy with the points and puts an expiration date on them. No one wants points anyway! The new offerings are either so lackluster or totally unattainable without a zillion points.
Not always perfect, I agree with other reviewers that say GoJEK can be particularly problematic for tourists. Familiarity with your location and a working knowledge of Indonesian go a long way to ensure expectations are met. Miscommunication can cause annoying situations for both sides.

Price is misleading; should pay drivers better because they call directly to negotiate
Currently staying in Bali and it takes us 40 minutes to find a driver. The issue is the app advertises a price, we book and the drivers accept. But then they contact me directly (WhatsApp) to negotiate a fare (double the quote price on the app). This adds to the time spent waiting for a ride because so much is wasted negotiating a price and, overall, the experience is very confusing and particularly stressful when they tell you to cancel them on the app but then call you directly to reopen negotiations! Not cool. Pay your drivers better or update the price range on the app so not to mislead customers.Show lesslaurengchalk
Its a usefull app
But was wondering why they don’t improve it. Like working together with the restaurants/cafes. I mean like something in Aussie, they have uber, deliveroo, menulog, it is similar with gojek although they don’t offer as many service. But they work together with the restaurant in a way that, the driver doesn’t have to order the food, because the thing they order has got into their system and payed directly as in paying with credit card or if using gojek could use the gopay system. So, they only take the food/beverage thats been order and made/cook. It will make ordering food/beverages easier and faster.

Terrible App
My account got blocked for no reason. Upon calling customer service they have told me that this account can no longer be used on the only solution is to use another number. Not every consumer has 2 mobile numbers yet 2 phones. Forced to delete this app after years of use. Be careful as gojek is carefully transitioning into a fintech company, providing users with an in app credit card and opportunity for misuse is quite high. Careful.Show lesscheesesnipes

Go-Jek go bike
So I can only speak for the motor bike pick up and drop off.. super convenient and best way to get around for someone like me who wasn’t confident on the bikes and knowing directions. The people have been super nice, great drivers and never asked for more than what was shown on the app. I also tip and it is the best deal. I’m so thankful for this app, especially In Canggu where no one walks!Show lessKmulahhh
Scam
Drivers accept and then try and charge you more than double what the rate says, then cancel when you refuse to pay a ridiculous amount. Different drivers turn up than the one stated on the app, such a scam and waste of time, easier bargaining with a taxi.babyfox54
