Awesome idea - want this to succeed
I really love the concept of this service and it does seem to be continually getting better. However my biggest gripe is that the actual mechanics of highlighting are very problematic to the point of complete frustration. On either MacOS or iOS it is painful trying to select the exact text you want to highlight. Far too often it selects the entire page which is NOT what you want. Now perhaps this is dependent on the way the content you are trying to highlight is formatted but it seems to me there should be a safety mechanism that stops the runaway highlighting and some kind of deceleration to give you finer control. If Liner’s devs can fix this problem they will have a winner for sure.Show lesscammonro

This app is literally THE BEST APP I have ever used, it literally saved my life and still saving it! It is literally such a life savor! BUT the only thing I don’t like about it is that it has only 2 color options.. if the people who made this app could probably fix this issue and make all the colors free it would be AMAZING. IT WOULD LITERALLY BE THE BEST APP ON PLANET EARTH. But I hope the creators would put this as an idea for the future :)Show lessNour Ch.

I very effective app. Particularly useful for students doing online courses. Just a couple of limitations, which if addressed would make this a killer app.
1. Ability to open multiple tabs in the app’s web browser.
2. A read mode in the browser similar to that in safari, meaning you could resize text so long articles are more readable (less eye strain) on the screen.
Sort these two issues and this app would deserve 10 stars!!!Show lessUnjair
App permissions
I’m very curious why the app is asking for so many permission when trying to login with twitter. It’s even asking to read my direct messages? Is there a good reason for this?NikolaDonchevN

Sorry for the inconvenience. We don't read any of your Twitter DM via login API. To use Twitter login API, we must contain other permissions by default.Terrible
Oh my god, this is one of the worst I have downloaded. Some people maybe lucky, though I would think the majority not so much. Consequently have deleted a useless app to me.

Liner is an amazing app, I use it for exactly what it was made for: highlighting websites. I would give it a higher review however, if there was some mechanism so that you could go back to the place in the webpage where you left off on your last highlight. As it is now it takes you to the very top of the webpage that you were working on, with no way of going to the location of the most recent or any highlights for that matter. If you were to make that change I would definitely improve my review.Show lessJ. Bags

Buggy (eg when I want to highlight a longer paragraph, scrolling cancels the highlighting), and the app feels slow (web app?). The design is cool though. I love the idea but the app execution won’t make me a paying customer anytime soonAluxian

I want to give a 5 star, but it doesn’t work for me somehow. I turned on LINER highlight for Safari as well as the very app, but there’s still not an option to highlight when I select any text. (It’s not just on one given web page, I’ve tried many different web pages and it just doesn’t show me a LINER highlight option.)

I received a reply from the developer. Thanks for trying to address my concern, but I’m afraid I have followed the instruction exactly as you have listed on your webpage before, but it simply does not work on my iPhone.
