  • Gas bill missing

    I received an email alert with my Gas bill but when I clicked into the app it says zero. Also missing a schedule payment feature.
  • Can not contact agl

    Couldn’t find a contact number through this app and had to go on the website even then I get automated voices and ended up having to message! And through message the agent couldn’t give me a straight answer!
    Using the app doesn’t give me a detailed account of what I’m using my gas for ?!?! So I don’t know why it’s shot up so much this quarter and I have to download my comprehensive bill though the email as it’s to hard to find where to download or see on the app ?!?!
    This app is not user friendly or informative . Gas only shows a graph that ur bill and gas usage has shot up which I’m like I already know that but why and what from ?!??!

  • Be warned

    If you’re on month to month billing with AGL beware. Your most recent billing amount on the app will look considerably different to your latest physical bill. For some reason AGL adds your previous months bill to your current months bill (which is still accumulating) as a total outstanding balance. The part that confuses the hell out of you is the date period shown only reflects the previous billing cycle. For e.g. a bill from 2 Mar - 1 Apr for $100 will show on the app as $100 “PLUS” whatever your current usage is since the 1 Apr. For examples sake let’s say you’ve used $80. Remember a bill hasn’t been generated for that period yet because the cycle isn’t complete. What you’ll see on the app is an amount owing for the 2 Mar - 1 Apr for $180. The stupid part is that $80 has nothing to do with 2 Mar - 1 Apr and wasn’t used during that time period. It shouldn’t be showing that it has. I’ve spoken to AGL about it and they can’t change the subject quick enough. Good news is you won’t be charged the whole amount. Only what you actually owe for 2 Mar - 1 Apr as reflected on your physical bill. Bad news is you might spend 3/4 hr on the phone in order to find that out.

    Very happy with the setup so far I must say we’ve been with a little while now but the performance is more than I expected from them in the near future we hope they say the same so we stay with them but I’ll let use know now if it’s not I’ll be 1st to move on but you’re very efficient and I’m happy with the way you going so there be no need for that sort of talk as everything seems to be running smoothly thank you AGL I tell everyone about you

  • Sep 2020 - new update on ‘usage’ is terrible!

    Firstly let me say that a month ago I would give the AGL Energy App a 5 star review.

    I moved house & subsequently changed energy providers early this year & this App was such a wonderful surprise & a joy to use.
    It may make me seem pathetic but I even showed friends at work how handy the App was - I was that happy with it.

    BUT the recent change where you can no longer see the daily usage in a $ amount alongside the hour/day you are looking up, is NOT user-friendly at all. Having it at the top of the screen now means you have to keep moving your eyes up and down the various columns and it is simply too hard to follow.

    Please change it back AGL tech people.

    Other than that one criticism, this App is a godsend during a year when watching every dollar has been absolutely critical for me and many others out there.

    P.S - I have never left a review on the App Store before but this recent update has bugged me so much I had to reach out. My apologies for putting some negativity out in the world & I sincerely hope the people in charge can take on some constructive criticism. Thank you!

  • FINALLY this app is almost completely useful...

    Pleased to see the latest version you can access your account number from the front screen.

    The not-so-good thing is that it is as useless as not having it all. You can’t adjust the size of the text to read the number clearly (and my glasses are the lowest prescription you can get), and you can’t copy the number...so when you need to chat to AGL you still need to go into the bill via three clicks to copy it to enter into the account field.

    How about making the Account Number something that is useful by making it a decent font and making it able to copied?

  • New 2020 changes aren’t so great

    Previously the app was a lot snappier. The new update requires a lot more scrolling and swiping. It no longer fits the entire usage for the month on the screen as the title bar and utility icon take up around a 1/3 of the screen which is a huge waste of space. The new overview screen would be better if all utilities were stacked vertically and you only needed to scroll vertically to view the summary of each utility.

    Would also be good to be able to dismiss the notice about the bushfire assistance. I appreciate that it is there to notify those affected but I don’t think it needs to be repeated twice on the overview screen each time taking up around a 1/4 of screen realestate.

    Please fix some of these glaring oversights!

  • It’s now a very good app!

    I have always been a fan and loyal customer of AGL and their considerate and respectful customer service, and honest and reliable electricity & gas service. And they have now achieved leaps and bounds with this new AGL app. I am quite impressed, and I feel that people now need to applaud them for their on-going efforts. They certainly have listened to their customers, so it’s only fair if we show some respect for this new fantastic new app!

    I’d like to say congratulations to the AGL team for such incredible efforts. Now is the time for us customers to give back 👍🏼

  • Stores old debit card numbers

    This app would have been 5 star, except for its storage of your debit cards. I made a payment with a card stored on the app, and it didnt go through, and I was charged for non-processing fee. It was a previous card!! It doesnt tell you, or check, the expiry date of the stored card.
