Worse service ever
You cannot buy and return, you will never get your money back with Afterpay. They hold on to your money until you give up trying to get it back.
Failure to deposit
I used Afterpay for the first time when I purchased something’s on Temu. I returned 2 items and picked to have the money sent back to my bank account after Temu notified Afterpay. Temu sent me a confirmation stating Afterpay was notify and my money should go back into my bank account. It’s been about a month and no money has been received from Afterpay. I have tried to contact them regarding my deposit and all I get is the same message. After I’m done paying them I will never used Afterpay ever in my life. Very frustrating and disappointed in Afterpay.

Still being charged
I check my account today and realized I been charged and I haven’t used this service since march this year!!!Not one but twice in one week this is crazy work I’m not benefiting from this!!!!
Can’t get a loan
Stupid that you have to pay 100 dollars before you can use any money this app just being reported as a waste of time and fraud saying you can get a loan the saying you have to pay 100 dollars before you can use it when no one who tries and get can that the whole point of a loan is to get it then pay for it

Terrible.
I would give this app 0 stars if I could. They do not screen their merchants for fraud, so I quite literally got scammed out of 90$, and the merchant is ghosting me so I have no way of getting a refund. Received an email after reaching out to in-app support, which was quite literally a copypasta, which I replied to with my concerns in detail. The response? The same exact copypasta’d email. Will not deny that getting scammed was my own fault, but the double copypasta email is absolutely ridiculous. Not even a “sorry we can’t help you, sincerely customer service agent Joe”. Just the same exact copypasta email with no sign off. Be EXTREMELY wary of what you buy with this, and know that you’re on your own if anything happens literally AT ALL.

Ridiculous that I now have to jump through hoops to take control of my account once more.
This app doesn’t work for me.
I tired uploading my Apple Pay, my TD bank card, my Cash app and nothing. I reached out to support and it does help. I heard about this app thru a friend and was very interested in trying but unfortunately this happened.

What is going on with this Afterpay app! I have had this app for a very long time. All of a sudden when I try to make a purchase, it keeps telling me to verify my identity. Then once I do, it tells me that there is already a creator for this Information no duh then when I close my account try to Re-login. It tells me that it cannot send me a passcode reset Can’t talk to anybody can’t login to even say anything so how do you expect for me to speak to someone you got this stupid AI THTAT DOES NOTHING! why are you verifying my identity again?

Getting the runaround
Afterpay is quite the disaster. The initial purchase was fine. I returned the items to the store a day and a half after the initial purchase and I’ve been waiting over a month for my return credit to post it to my account. I have literally spent hours on the phone to get nowhere. I have sent and resent the same data to Afterpay that they have requested to process the credit and file a dispute with the merchant. The merchant denies that they’ve gotten any communication from Afterpay. An area manager with the vendor who supplied my purchase, is very familiar with nothing but problems from Afterpay when people are waiting for returns. I will never endorse or utilize this service again. Oh, did I mention they’re still expecting me to make payments? One representative says they will suspend the payment, the next rep or email communication says they will not suspend my payments. I don’t have the cash reserves to wait on $300, apparently they don’t either.
