Won’t update / Won’t open
Can’t open app. Won’t update. Absolutely unacceptable when stuck at the airport and can’t make travel adjustments. Worst app I’ve ever used.
Billet de train non visible dans l’application
Je ne comprends pas que les billets de train achetés ne soient pas du tout visibles dans l’application. Il n’est vraiment pas pratique de devoir fouiller dans une 100 aines de mails pro pour retrouver les billets et les scanner au portique.. Et comme il est impossible de rajouter le voyage sur l’appli sncf ou les billets dans le wallet…

Sortiermöglichkeiten sind beschränkt
Leider bestehen nur die Möglichkeiten, nach Empfehlungen/Preis aufsteigend/Preis absteigend zu sortieren. Eine Sortierung: Entfernung zum Ziel wäre sehr wünschenswert.

Cannot book through web browser
Booked flights using pc web browser app. However would not let me book hotel. I had to do it through mobile app instead.

This app keeps asking if I like it
This app won’t stop asking if I like it. If I say no it wants feedback, I have answered it over a dozen times and it changes nothing and continues to ask. I’m hoping this will fix the problem. This is a business app that is picked at the organizational level, therefore there is no real feedback I can provide that you will care about. I would appreciate not swapping my reservations on reload to one where you steal my hotel points. If you could fix that it would be helpful. Past that asking the same question everyday is annoying and useless.

Wunsch: Zeichen statt Text
Für Hotelbuxhungen wäre es deutlich einfacher das passende zu finden, wenn mehr mit Zeichen/Icons gearbeitet wird und weniger mit Text. Zum Beispiel für das inbegriffene Frühstück, Doppelbett etc.

Easiest app I have used to book work travel…also as an Amex Platinum user how the heck does AMEX not use this for their members?!!!!!

Schon die Auswahl eines Termins klappt nicht. Ich kann die Tage zwar anwählen aber es gibt keinen Button zum übernehmen. Gerät Iphone 13
This app occasionally works
In my experience, when going to pay for a hotel room, the front desk receptionists frequently can’t figure out the direct bill method. Egencia offers a perfectly useless feature that shows a dark credit card with black text that is completely illegible. If they offered a setting to change the text color or card background, it would greatly improve the usability of this app. It would be even more beneficial if they could hire software engineers to help think of ideas like this to improve usability with a bit of forethought.

Needs to be better
In general the app works but I’ve had so many issues. I’m not sure which are the backend services vs app issues. For one, 9 times out of 10, when I open, I get Ops something went wrong, then have to reload. I’ve had many times where I had to change flights, trying to cancel an international flight rarely works, i have to call and be on a 30 min call. Booking trips to India rarely works, you have to pick a fare type, you’re given 3 options, no matter what you select it errors out. Happens for me every single time. Engencia support reps are great, the company could save money on their support if the app and digital services worked better. Every time a challenging flight situation comes up, I know I’m going to have to call.

Experience Downgrade
If you travel a lot, and are used to using airline and hotel apps, then this app is a huge downgrade.
1. Can’t see seat availability if you have status.
2. Can’t see hotel availability (recently showed 10 hotels as sold out that I could book).
3. Call center support (required for using airline credits—can’t do it in the app) is slow and not as professional as airline and hotel direct support numbers.
The worst part of my week is anytime I open Egencia.

Riddled with bugs, UX team should be ashamed.
Terrible Penny pinchers
1. I can find flights cheaper than Egencia by myself
2. With direct flights available they sent you in a circus of connection flights

It works… could be better
Generally, it’s form fit and function are good. Most things are possible between the web application and the mobile. However, there seems to be a lack of mobile wallet integration that other business travel apps have. There is a UX convenience element missing on e-tickets being available in mobile wallets. I have to either open the app or save the pdf or take a screenshot. All of which is a bit frustrating. Dev team can you work on getting mobile wallet support for e-tickets… then I’ll give you 5 stars.

My birth date keeps on being changed
My birth date keeps on being changed, and in TSA I been rejected to go back at the airline front desk to change it, causing delays and even flight lost.
Easy to use
This app is super easy to use, works with expense reporting platform and offers extremely competitive rates without having to go to multiple sites to search. As an added bonus it also uses corporate rate cap data to let you stay I. Compliance with corporate travel cost requirements.
Crashes
Try to make a hotel reservation, crashes. Try to book a flight, crashes. Read an alert, freeze or crash. Using iPad Pro less than four months old
Overall, useful but with room for improvement
I’ve only recently started to use this app with work travel bookings. On the surface it’s mostly good, certainly useful to have it accessible on my phone as my work e-mails can’t be accessed by phone.
A couple of points I feel could be developed:
1 train tickets. These come through on the app, but there is no functionality to add them to my Apple wallet. Consequently, you’re scrabbling to get your phone out, with your work bag, overnight bag, and navigating to the app to open the booking. Wallet would just show this on the Lock Screen intelligently.
2: Egencia send calendar invited to my email address for hotel bookings, why isn’t the app allowing me to add this to my Apple calendar?
I feel like both are fairly achievable and obvious enhancements to the user experience…?
