Absolutely dreadful to use, why can you not just take a picture of your passport and a scan of your passport. It took so long to get everything aligned correctly for the process to kick in, by the time I was told to go back to my laptop i got an error message for being timed out. Massively overthought and unnecessary process to go through when it could have been easier to do

Proving who I am again!
This is the second time I have had to prove to a government department who I am. I previously carried this painful procedure out when applying for my passport. Where is this joined up administration? If I have done this for one department surely it should be an easy task to access this across departments if I give you approval!

Awful experience with IDV
I have now had to use 2 separate email addresses and, despite passing IDV successfully, I continue to get error messages. Then when I get an error message I’m told to create a new email address and try again!
Useless
Wouldn’t accept my driving licence photo card and now i’m just going round in circles between the website and the app with no way to resolve the situation. Emails to help centre are equally useless. They just provide a list of FAQ’s which are all irrelevant.

All I wanted to do was submit my self assessment. Took me 10mins to do the assessment and now I have been at this for 2 hours just trying to log in. Tech is supposed to make things easier, not longer and harder.

Bit dystopian
All I wanted to do was let the DVLA know my address has changed. No idea why I was obliged to get this app. +1 star because it did eventually unlock the DVLA change of address form but pretty dystopian experience and took ages compared to last time I moved.
