Best App for Garmin & Lift Tracking

I have been evaluating different apps and features available. Initially I struggled with some features not being available but the support team has been very helpful. The app has a lot of exercise variety, with ability to push workouts from ChatGPT. The Pro version Max is a trained model & helpful with creating workouts seamlessly. It’s been built very neat and I am moving out from other apps to consolidate a strong integration with Garmin and Lifttrack. It provides all capabilities from other apps in one place. Thank you ! This is a definite solver for anyone owning Garmin to simplify their tracking & you can skip phone entirely by using a forerunner

Response from developer

Hey! I'm a part-time solo dev, so getting through the inbox sometimes takes longer than I'd like :( LiftTrack is a freemium app, so you can use most of it for free, with premium features available as add-ons. We are working together offline to make sure you discover all the features available with LiftTrack Premium

0 Lbs for all weights, progression data is lost when creating another workout.

This app is an impressive alternative to the limited capacities of garmin coach for strength training. However the app doesn’t take into account the Training Max while generating workouts, and adds 0 lbs to all weights.

Progression data is not linked to the unique workout or even the muscle group, which defeats the while purpose of having an app to keep track of the reps and weights.

Thanks for calling all these out! These are the improvements we plan to roll out over the next couple of months.

Very bad support experience for PRO version

I am writing this in frustration and after reaching out to the support email twice. I subscribed to PRO but have no change or AI mode on for at least 1-3 business days. There is no response, I cancelled my pro version and resubscribed but nothing. It’s a horrible experience

Easy to use

Very nice set easy to use and sync with my garmin so I can track each exercise through my watch

Does not do what it claims

LiftTrack does not do the main thing it exists to do, allow creation of custom exercises that display during a workout on a Garmin watch, at least not functionally on a Garmin Descent Mk3i 52mm screen, which is essentially a Fenix series watch for purposes of workouts. This is not a LiftTrack but a Garmin limitation, except inasmuch as LiftTrack doesn’t do what it claims—allow for workouts using custom activities. It claims that using the notes feature of the generic “Go” exercise, essentially custom activities can be used in workouts. The problem is that during a workout the notes field is very hard—though not impossible— to access. One has to drill down into a single activity in the workout preview screen to see that field, which is far too cumbersome in a workout. I had such hope for this app but, again not the fault of the developer, it’s Garmin that isn’t responding to its customers needs here, am unsubscribing.

I presume the other useful features such as progressive loading work well but I mainly needed the custom activities.

Response from developer

As you described, we had to design around Garmin's limitations. The workout-tracking experience differs across watches. Most watches let you create custom data screens while tracking a workout. It should be possible to display the workout step notes field with the exercise name.
