Reporting on this app is trash
I tried repotting my blocks outage on the app and keeps claiming my street doesn’t match their records! oh but it matches fine when it’s time to collect huh!!!!
Annoying
App works ok but the constant pop up telling me to change my rate plan is just outright annoying.
Widgets
The widgets don’t work like they supposed to. Projected dollar amount never shows

The website is already terrible, not really shocked that this app doesn’t even work and glitches constantly. Don’t waste your time

Apps open so this isn’t an app- it’s deadweight on your phone. Hasn’t worked in years and don’t expect it to in the future
IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 5 STARS
I could have given it a 5 star because everything that I need to manage my sce account is simplified and is all in the app. I took 1 star out BECAUSE I can’t access it when im on vacation, like out of the country vacation. How can I manage my SCE if i can’t access it at my most convenient time?
Horrible billing and website
Website never works and app never works I try to pay online and it says $0 due but then I get a past due bill. What a fraudulent company. What happened to SCE!
Can’t use card
It’s kind of annoying how I can’t use my debit card to pay on the app?? Does anyone else have the same issue it’s so annoying so I still have to call and go thru the whole thing 🙄🙄 what’s the point !
Login issues
Can’t log in. Additionally, their customer support phone number is borderline nonfunctional.
Useful but frustrating
I have to log in with multi-factor every single time I open the app. Come on. It’s 2026 and it’s on my device, not a web browser.
Garbage
Absolute trash. I haven’t been able to login in over four months. Worst app on my iPhone. It’s insane. They still haven’t fixed these bugs or addressed any of the reviews.
Still not working
If you are reading all the 1 star reviews they are all right. Just tried logging in and it just keeps loading and getting stuck. Very surprised this company can’t develop a working app and adjust to today’s needs.
This "App" Never Works
EVERY TIME i try to log-in I KEEP getting redirected to the website. SDGE would NEVER give me this problem.
So bad it should be illegal
This the worst app I currently have on my phone; I don’t understand how Apple would even accept something this bad:
- Logging in is a pain: the form doesn’t even match the website’s domain to Passwords so Autofill is broken and the SMS- and email-based 2FA is a huge time waster. Ever heard of Passkeys?
- The loading indicator spins forever so the website (yeah this app is another trashy web wrapper) never loads
It’s like the app is actively preventing you from paying them. Why make it a hard for customers to pay you? This makes zero sense.

Horrible payment system
This app sucks . It will literally split the same bill a thousands times. I had to pay 1 cent . After 6 payments on the same bill
App does not work, technical issue pop up and won’t get past it
Was able to use this app early in 2025 and ever since that one time you were able to successfully log in, it doesn’t work after that.
Fast forward to 2026, same issues. Keeps getting my “It looks like some technical issue, please try again after some time” message pops and can’t exit out of it. Useless app.

I wish I could give it to zero stars
Your billing section is horrendous. The amount of times I have been kicked off my payment plan this past year due to your app is astronomical. And as of right now, I just tried enrolling into your auto pay program which seemed super simple and if just paid my whole entire bill which is not what I wanted.

Give it a chance y’all
I’m so glad someone decided to review this app in 2025 otherwise I would’ve kept logging in on the website. It’s user-friendly and works just as well, if not better, than the web version.

I see lot of improvement in the app performance and functionality, I just loved it.

No surprise this app is utter junk. It’s just the web page in an app.
But can you expect anything better from these crooks? They charge the most in the nation and can’t afford to pay for an actual app.
And I really wish they would quit trying to trick me into signing up for paperless billing. IT AINT GOING TO HAPPEN. I don’t trust this company one bit to be honest and not change records when I inevitably run into a problem.
