App is not useful
There are 4 people in our family and we cannot see balances individually. No number is displayed against the family member so you know what number follows the account no. Family members don’t have an individual account
Love the App
Super easy to use. Able to check if any medical procedures or hospitals are covered on the app easily. Changing details and checking coverage is also easy. Overall and good app that is easy to use and intuitive.

Fix the app
Every time I login, I'm required to sign in in full again and am asked to set up Face ID and PIN as if it's the first time. I use this regularly and this is so annoying. The banks have worked out how to do this so why can't you guys?

NIB is just like the rest of the health insurance companies out there… I’ve been with this insurance company for over 22 years…you pay a ton of money monthly to cover your family and get very little in return… so sick of being treated like this. They just keep taking, taking , taking…

How do I get to my son’s policy that I manage. I think I’ve done it before but now I’m having trouble.

Payment details error
I am trying to add payment details from nib application, however it was giving an error and asked to called customer care to add it.
I think this silly issue should be fixed before sending this application to production environment.
As a nib customer, i don’t want to call customer care to spend hours to fix it.
I believe nib should prioritise this issue and make people life more easier.

Covers
Not over impressed so far with my cover received after switching from Ahm for 5yrs , only managed to get x1 payment / claim put through, rejected the rest of my claims , something I’m not used to with Ahm , now considering why did I change if this is the level of service I can expect going forward.

Be aware, whilst NIB listed my cover as 100% for ambulance, this it not the case, read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page!

Excellent Service
I never had any problem in filing and receiving my claims from NIB. Standard medical relate coverage is being followed. Their line is reliable whenever I call for any inquiry.

Beware potential endless login loop
After previously using the app successfully, recently had massive problems logging in despite providing email address and login code, stuck in a ridiculous loop that provided no clue of what was going wrong nor gave anywhere to lodge the problem for support to fix it. Wasted several hours over several weeks trying to troubleshoot.
In the end I had to ignore the prepopulated email address I have used with the app in the past (to which NIB sends emails suggesting I book an appointment, with a Book Now button) and tried another email address. I guess at some point I updated my preferred contact email with NIB and the app couldn’t handle that properly (or communicate that it wanted a different email)? Even though NIB know both email addresses belong to me and they communicate to both?
