I would NEVER use PayPal. PayPal also SELLS YOUR DATA. They lie to consumers and the same accounts they reject their competitors have no problem with.

Why have an iPhone app on an iPad?
Every time I log into PayPal on my iPad, I am nagged to get the app.
Why would anybody with an iPad (or 12" iPad Pro in my case) want to use an iPhone app in its tiny little claustrophobic window when you could be using a web browser with all the space of a full screen?

App update is terrible!
When they updated the app, it’s so much harder to use. The package tracking feature isn’t user friendly anymore. It’s harder to find and it sorts the incoming packages out of order, no way to sort in a logical order. The older version of the app was so much better.
Business Account
Hands does the WORST POS system out there. Be prepared for your funds to be taken for 3 DAYS FOR REVIEW. And during those 3 days you will not have access. If ur a small company or just gettin started, stay far away from these ppl.
Run away
Ive been using Paypal regularly for about the last ten years with minimal issues, suddenly they've locked my account claiming “Suspicious activity” with no description or reason. I contacted the AI help that told me my email should give a reason but the email does not. So I called up the help line where they told me “Yea after reviewing your account I cannot locate a reason but if you want your account back you need to send Paypal a picture of your ID” For what?? So it can go in a database and get stolen at the next breach? Or maybe so they can sell more of my info? No thanks. Now my account is locked and they refuse to unlock or delete the account. They refuse to provide any help or any reason for shutting me out. Now I have to change all of my card information and unlink Paypal from everything manually. You are better off with another company these guys will screw you over for no reason.

Easy
There’s nothing easier than the Pay Pal app and the debit card. I have had no problems using it , adding funds from another linked bank account. Whatever problems other reviewers have had can be frustrating, but maybe a closer scrutiny of how they have set up their account hopefully would help.
Favorite feature removed
I’m writing this review specifically cause PayPal has removed my favorite feature that being the ability to add package tracking numbers manually and being able to see where such packages are via a satellite map. Until you reverse this change that occurred in today’s update the 2 Star review will remain, your not getting your 5 stars until this update is reversed.

Can’t even create an account
I’ve probably tried 10 times and I haven’t received the SMS code a single time. This is just a Paypal issue, I’m able to receive SMS codes from other apps and websites and I know it’s the right number and my number works.
Good way to buy
Use this pay in 3. A lot as I use Cash Converter, I can buy an item using it as I am initially only using a third of my outlay so I can get an item using PayPal as a bit more security
Unauthorized charge again
I have just been charged $39.98 deducted from my bank that I did not authorize and have no knowledge of who they are. I am requesting this be investigated and the $39.98 be refunded back to me immediately. I have stopped using PayPal several months ago for this exact same issue!
Change back to old layout
Smh whats this new layout i love the classic style or atleast give us tje options to switch back
New UI is janky
New UI has removed options, made everything useful harder to find, has dead ends with no close/back button. Prime example of people vibe coding a “refresh” that was pointless and undertested
Mediocre
Credit for finally adding dark mode, better late than never I guess. Other than that, the app feels a bit "bloated". Like another review said, it really shouldn't be 800MB for what feels like a web wrapper with FaceID support.
Customer Service is nonexistent
Do Not expect Customers to get any help from “customer service”. Their app and email notifications don’t match
Frauds
Don’t do business with PayPal. They do business with Chinese scammers. I got scammed out of 70 bucks and they already told my I’m most likely screwed on that one. So yeah. After an appeal they still sided on the Chinese scammer who took me for 70 bucks. It’s just not a secure pay system any longer. I’m going to Venmo and other pay sites. PayPal will allow Chinese scammer take money from you and after the scammers disappear they still side with them. I’ve been using PayPal for over two decades. This is the first time something like this happened. And I’m simply dumbfounded that they allow Chinese scammer get away with stealing from American citizens. STAY AWAY FROM PAYPAL. They literally work with Chinese scammers. I’m about to sue. That’s all I know to do at this point. Just don’t use them. Again they literally work with Chinese scammers. The post office has no records of the package ever getting there at all. No record. At all. But all tbe scammers have to do it tell PayPal it was delivered and they believe. No proof of the package ever even existed. None. Nothing. But they still sided with the scammers. I’m trying to help you by saying this. Don’t download this fraudulent app and don’t use their fraudulent pay system. They literally work with Chinese scammers. Also they refused to send the paper work from the scammers. It’s just very fishy. PayPal is LITERALLY SIDING WITH CHINESE SCAMMERS!!! Don’t use this scammer ridden app 😡

Horrible service
PayPal is such an un-user friendly product. They have restricted my account, speaking to their AI they will take up to a week to resolve. Such a simple issue. And now I’m eating more of my time over their poor service.

They accused me of using a stolen bank card. I then provided solid evidence that I was the true account holder of the said account and no later than 2 weeks after they suspended my account again and told me to take that up with my bank.
I called my bank and they told me that they never reported those false claims. I do not understand what is going on.
They refuse to appeal this decision and resolve the problem.
I am highly disappointed and do not recommend using this app for your hard earned money.

Another Two updates and still won’t allow transfer
It’s had 4 updates since my last review of 1 star as again it still won’t allow you to transfer money from selling or receiving money. The apps name is PayPal- send, manage, pay. Mobile money transfer, wallet. Seriously! Poor form PayPal.
