Push notifications
Push notifications stopped working over a week ago. Nobody at PayPal seems interested in a fix or offering any help. Migrate to stripe would be my advice
FRAUD
This is by far the worst app to trust with your finances. Have been using PayPal for 15 years and it is straight garbage now. Zero buyer protection. You’ll open a dispute provide an absurd amount of detail with photo evidence and they will still side with the merchant.
When you change your dispute reason, they will completely disregard any new information and deny your claim regardless.
Is in cahoots with eBay.
Most unethical garbage humans work here. Absolute 100% trash.

Works but I got my account suspended because I asked for a refund
Never use this app
Completely useless and a scam. Attempted to change my password and get permanently banned for “flagged activity.” Don’t bother using MFA methods; they only flag your account more. A confirmed email, phone number, passkey, & photo ID is apparently fraud. Waste of time and money. Absolute joke of a company

This company is so bad. They lie! A bunch of teenagers work there and block your number when you have a complaint and get charged money for no reason.
I set up an account, couldn’t use it to order online or send money to friends. When I called the little punk blocked me.

It’s a good app. Transfers are made surprisingly quick.
Trigger happy to deactivate accounts
Finally had a use for my account I log in and I’m permanently deactivated for inactivity… like what do you mean? PayPal is not a bank, they are not a main form of money transfers and they have essentially no appeal process either. Horrible app
Horrible customer service
It took 10 + chats of repeatedly yelling PayPal to block a merchant for them to finally do it, which caused me $300 loss. PayPal won’t take any accountability. Lose a customer fr I told them to stop this beforehand

Too easy to click the wrong things. Latest update has hidden the “transfer account balance” process.

ive made about 6 different paypal accounts and all they’ve ever done is falsely close my accounts and steal all my money. there is always errors and they cannot help you when its most important, the lack of support when your account gets warned or closed is just insane, it is pretty much impossible to get your account back even if you havent done anything wrong. i’m just forced to use it because tiktok takes nothing else.

1. Everyone time I receive a message from email from PayPal, it takes me to a browser and I can’t login even my app is logged in already.
2. Customers service is unbelievably difficult and dispute for a scammed transaction, the customer service agent is a super rude and unhelpful. I asked you for supervisor and he refused me. 3. I will not use PayPal any more.

Has everyone heard of all the lawsuits filed against PayPal today? This will break their company.
Scammers and not user friendly
We tried transferring money into my account and they TOOK it instead. And then lied to my face about what I did and didn’t do- when I called. This app is also extremely hard to navigate and understand, I would have given it zero stars, or one star but I know a review with two stars is harder to delete. I’m not going to EVER use this app once I get my money back. Don’t do it. Do not download this app.

This has to be the most useless and pathetic app I have ever used. Zero customer service support, a high chance you will get scammed, punch of unnecessary fees. I got scammed and they won’t give me my money back. Pathetic.
No Purchase Protection!
Use at your own risk. Paypal pretends to protect your purchases, but they have proven to me that for me, that was not correct. I had a renewal on a security program that was paid through PayPal. The company charged my account through PayPal but never activated the renewal in the app. After months of not getting any response, from the company , I contacted PayPal and filed for Protection based on their guarantees. I provided them proof of payment and proof that the account had never been updated to show as active again. Even either all this proof, PayPal decided against me. It took a letter from my attorney and 4 months of back and forth emails to finally get the company to admit that they were wrong. And they issued a refund. PayPal gave me no protection. In my case their “purchase guarantee” was completely BOGUS!

Spy and spam app on your phone
The app is useless now, it’s bloated with commercials and ads for products no one needs. The customer service is automated and no human will ever help you. It used to be a very safe play to do business with but now it’s another payment system with high fees and no protection. AliExpress sellers trick you into scams and PayPal works with them.
