Doesn’t recognize added pets
Since the update I’ve been trying to book grooming for my fur baby that has been in the system from day one, now it doesn’t recognize him and when I try to add it says he’s already there, vicious circle which is so frustrating, no need to fix what ain’t broke!!!
Buggy
May just be a me thing, but the app is occasionally really slow to load, navigating through takes a while just to get to what I need due to those load times and as of recent, my rewards page just appears completely different and the offers don’t populate. I log onto the actually website via safari and boom, not a problem. Not a big deal but it’s pretty annoying.

False advertising
PetSmart provide a rewards program that does not pay out its rewards. Further, neither in store the grooming department nor the customer service number were able to provide a proper explanation for why or how Rewards for the salon or any other others were obtainable. And apparently, depending on your type of question you have to go to a different customer area at PetSmart, which makes no sense whatsoever?!?

Update Ruined App
I try to schedule a grooming appointment and it will not let me add my saved pet. I try to add a new pet and it says that pet already exists but it won’t let me add that pet, there’s not even an option. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!
Doesn't Even Login
This app seriously sucks. Login hangs and sometimes doesn't work at all. Use AI to fix your app, it's not that difficult.
Dog food
Trying to order my dog food but it keeps sending me back to shopping every once in a while it flashes that I have 4 in the cart but I can’t do anything
App constantly glitches
This app glitches so much that it makes a five minute task take about an hour. I had to restart the app at least 5 or 6 times before I could put my order through
App has been real glitchy…
PetSmart is typically my go to when shopping for my pets, and recently I’ve been using the app to do either delivery orders or in-store pickups, as sometimes it’s more convenient, works with my schedule, sometimes there’s deals that correspond with these methods of shopping, and I find it to be a solution to my overspending and splurging on my fur babies (😂). But recently the app has been SOOOO glitchy. My cart glitches, I can’t remove things or even change the method of how I’m receiving my items. By no means i won’t stop shopping at PetSmart, but I’m really frustrated with the app recently as it’s effecting the other ways I can shop.

Pets not on grooming services
I’ve used this app for ages (9 years) and have experienced very few issues, but today I am trying to schedule a grooming appointment and my pets are not showing up as an option for grooming services. However, when I go to create them I get prompted that this pet already exist. Very frustrating.
App doesn’t work
App is a joke for the pass few months it doesn’t allow ApplePay even tho they have it listed. I always have to go to the full site for it to work.
No Excuse for So Many Issues
It’s so frustrating to know that a company the size of Petsmart can’t get it together when it comes to their mobile app. Every time I do an update it fixes one issue and bam - I find another one instantly. And these aren’t small issues their issues that block functionality that I use the app for like booking doggy day camp or checking availability of a product at nearby stores. As someone who works in software development and quality assurance, I understand what goes into building and maintaining a mobile app and there’s just no reason for the app to be this bad after this many years. They are lucky they have the indoor staff that provide provides such good service to make up for their terrible technology presence.

Won’t allow grooming appointments
I’ve tried rebooking through past appointments. I’ve tried reading my pet and was met with “this pet already exists”. I know that. Why does this app continue to fail almost monthly? About to quit with PetSmart altogether.
Totally worthless waste of storage space
What good is this? None of the search functions work. I find nowhere to find pets at store locations (the reason I downloaded this). This is a pile of bugs masquerading as an app.
Autoship
They force customers to set up autoship. Any purchased item in the store automatically is put in your cart. In order to place an online order I have to remove every past purchase I made. They try to blame it on the cashier signing the customer up for it. But there is no way to opt out of that feature. So they force it.

Tracking Orders is Awful
Trying to track your order from PetSmart through the app requires half your day. If you go to track your order in the email they sent you you have to put in an order number and your email, then it’s broken out into 20 different shipments and you have to track each shipment. Come on PetSmart, you’re a huge company. There are much better ways to let people track their orders. Go check out Chewy and Petco.

I always thought it was my WiFi but I’m always at the highest point, but it still takes a year to even put something in cart, let alone checkout
So much potential
This app never works correctly. I have logged out to log back in, deleted the app and reinstalled, nothing works. I have had the app for several months and have not been able to successfully book or pay for a grooming service. There are so many things it looks like you can do. Please fix and it could be great.
