💚 This App Helped Me Find Myself Again
I honestly don’t know where I’d be today without Reframe.
I joined Reframe in October 2024 because I knew I needed to change my relationship with alcohol. Like many people, I didn’t get it right the first time. But one thing I never did was give up. Reframe never gave up on me either.
What I found was so much more than an alcohol-free app. I found education, compassion, accountability, and a community that truly understands.
The coaches, the daily meetings, the science-based approach, and the incredible community kept cheering me on until I was finally strong enough to cheer myself on. That belief, support, and encouragement made all the difference.
Reframe has helped me change the way I think—not just about alcohol, but about myself. I’ve learned that cravings pass, emotions aren’t emergencies, and self-care isn’t selfish. I’ve learned to pause, breathe, and respond instead of react. Those lessons have changed every part of my life.
Today, I’m approaching five months alcohol-free, and for the first time in a very long time, I feel proud of myself. I’m more present with my family, more patient with myself, and more grateful than I ever imagined I could be. Recovery hasn’t made my life perfect, but it has made me capable of handling life’s challenges without reaching for a drink.
One of the greatest gifts has been the friendships I’ve made along the way. Encouraging others in the community has become just as meaningful as receiving encouragement myself. It’s amazing how people you’ve never met can help change your life.
If you’re wondering whether Reframe is worth trying, my answer is an emphatic yes. It isn’t magic, and it still takes commitment, but you don’t have to do it alone. Every small step matters, and every day you keep showing up is a victory.

Great App!
This does a great job of staying focused on quitting alcohol!
False advertising
I wanted a monthly subscription- and that is what I had believed I had signed up for. Instead I was billed $99.99 for a full year? I barely use this app and find it a lot less helpful than normal AA meetings. Very disappointed. Reached out to customer service and asked to be on a monthly plan and a refund, but have not heard back yet. I do not recommend this service/app.

Life changing
I don’t think I could have cut my drinking back the way I have without Reframe. I appreciate reading the science of why it’s important. It’s been 30 days and I feel like a new person. Rested, healthy and hopeful. And I paid for the year membership four times over with savings on wine. Definitely money well spent.

1/5 very disappointing customer service
I would be extremely cautious when signing up for Reframe. I was charged approximately $100 for a subscription, and after realizing what happened, I canceled and immediately reached out regarding a refund.
I have spent several days communicating with customer service and providing the information requested, but I still have not received a refund or a clear resolution. For a charge of this amount, I expected much better communication and customer service.
What has been most frustrating is having to repeatedly follow up regarding money that is significant to me while receiving no meaningful resolution. The experience has been unnecessarily stressful and has completely changed my opinion of the company.
I will update this review if Reframe resolves the issue and processes my refund, but as of now, I cannot recommend the service based on my experience.

Freedom
Reframe has returned the gift of freedom to me. I could not escape the loop in my brain of waking up each morning with my first thought that the two to four glasses of wine I drank the night before was bad for my health. I would promise myself all day long that I would stop today. Then I would reach for a glass of wine at 5:00 and the cycle would start again. This went on for more than a decade. I was a prisoner of my own thoughts not knowing how to break out of this bad habit jail. I joined Reframe three months ago, and I have cut back on my daily drinking by 90%. Short science based daily readings on the Reframe app, the nonjudgmental community on Reframe, and the easy to navigate app have given me my freedom back. It has taught me how to take positive steps in the right direction for my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

This has nothing to do with the service. This is about the cancellation. The content and tools are very good in my opinion, and I’m sure quite helpful for many people, they just weren’t best for me. After my free trial, I started the cancellation process online. I was run through no less than seven pages of trying to keep my business, offering discounts and asking me if I’m sure several times. I must not have gotten to the eighth page correctly as I was charged the full subscription amount a few days later. I’ve been contacted email support asking to be canceled and requesting a refund that was 12 days ago. The first response I got was 24 hours later stating that they were looking into my “issue”. Two days after that, I received a response asking to “get on the same page” (the title of my email was please cancel and refund), and asking if I would want the discounted price or switching to a monthly subscription instead. I replied I’d prefer to cancel and receive a refund. That was eight days ago. Five days ago, I asked them for an update. Ghosted. Hope this helps someone out there - be vigilant when canceling and get an email receipt.

Unsubscribed from the yearly and also had to unsubscribe from the monthly subscription. Not cool…
Sketchy app, don’t do it
They will charge you $132 every year without any warning that it’s time for your subscription to renew. And when you do cancel they offer to drop the price to $49.99.

Attempted multiple times to contact regarding access code (email and in app customer support) and zero response in several days.
Payment for subscription went thru quickly…so the billing department is on top of their game at least.
Update - customer support reached out shortly after review (maybe a coincidence, maybe not). Regardless, issue was addressed quickly after contact and so far I am enjoying the app.

Don’t do it!
I signed up for a prescription from Reframe. The medication ended up making me very sick and I’ve decided not to continue, but they automatically build my card again and even though I’ve never received the product they say that they have a zero refund policy.
While their website does not say that they said that their website is wrong and it’s contained within the that you sign up for.

Helpful app & great customer service
If you’re motivated to making a change, this app is well-structured, convenient, and logical. It helps you understand the chemistry of what’s happening and why you crave. It helps to teach you from the ground up that you can indeed have a better relationship with alcohol if you are willing to learn. Also, the customer service was great when I had an account issue and resolved it quickly! Rare today! You can tell they care.
