Used to be decent, but not anymore

Once upon a time, this was a fairly decent app that was able to order easily and save three or four different cards for payments ever since the most recent updates, my saved cards have apparently disappeared, except for one anytime I try to do an order on the app at the faults to Apple Pay, which I don’t have and when I go to one of those, it’s already in there, where exactly is it it doesn’t come up in my payment options. Recently anytime I go to try to place an order and check out I get “ unable to validate cart”messages. Two days ago I went to place an order for pick up and I understand there’s a convenience fee but there were several dollars in “taxes and fees” that make absolutely no sense considering that I live in a state that has no sales tax however it’s food and it’s not taxed anyhow.
From now on, I only use the app when I walk in the store to scan to get my credits and that’s it.

Our Moe’s is great, App not so much

My husband and I really enjoy Moe’s food and the staff there is above and beyond! We decided to download the app to get the rewards points and use our AARP discount at a restaurant we wanted to use more frequently.
That is where the trouble started - almost every function in the app barely works or doesn’t work at all. There’s often trouble just loading the menu to start our order. Even if we get orders submitted, the rewards points can’t be redeemed and our AARP discount can’t be used.
The app frequently locks up - just freezes! Can’t move forward and can’t back out. We have to reboot our iPhones to get it to reset.
How does anyone have the patience to persist in using this buggy app for no attainable benefit? We may as well just phone the order in. That really defeats the purpose of having the app.
Moe’s, we love your food, your prices, your staff and location, but you should pay us if we manage to thread the needle and get orders through to you using this app!

Should Be Called Woe’s App…

All I can see is the menu to order...I get notifications and when I click to open the app I cannot find where or what the notification is...seriously...?!?! I wish you would change this as I honestly wish I could give this app 0 stars instead of the one Update: I still hate this app...I get notifications that I don’t know where on the app they are AND they never clear...I still wish I could give this “0” stars as I could give the one star to a more deserving app...not this Moe’s or should I say...Woe’s app
Update: This app always has me login…why…?? I have my login info saved on my phone…but the biggest gripe is when it does “login” all I am greeted with are the available restaurants in my are and asking me to start an order…I just want to look at the menu…why don’t you let the app open and let me get to the home page…do you even read these comments…?? This app is still referenced as Woe’s app…please fix…!!!

Frustrated

We have been a weekly visitor to Moe’s for more than 10 years. I was finally convinced to download the app so we could get the Monday burrito special. Worked fine for the first few months. Now I cannot get to the page that I can get the discount without completing the to go order. We eat in and bring a group with us every week. I do not want to order online. I was told I had to delete the app and re-download it. Did that and it worked - for one week. I have since deleted and re-downloaded multiple times to no avail. The manager is fabulous as she knows us and is always helpful and always asks for my phone #. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. Sometimes it tells her after they have completed my order that we are only eligible for a completely different items that day. So irritating. Love the store. Love the employees. Hate the app.

They ruined a barely usable app

The previous version was not good in any way, but at least it worked.

I am unable to see, use, remove, or re-add my card. It just disappeared after I finally managed to get it not forget the card after every order.

My recent orders page is empty, and it normally says that I do not have any favorites saved. If my favorites manage to show up, which happens once every couple of months, it either doesn’t add to cart, despite the button animation playing proving that it did register me pressing it, or it takes so long that I end up adding multiple to my cart.

The new address menu is also worse. My address is specific, but it only allows me to select a generalized search result and will not let me add the missing detail. I also have two stores within range and one is usually much more competent, but it now defaults to the worse one because it is slightly closer and I am unable to change it anymore.

I have reported these issues through the app multiple times since the redesign and none have been addressed. Unless these are fixed soon, I am probably going to stop ordering from them once I have used up my rewards points.

What happened to Moes

I’m an online order girly. I prefer online orders more than anything and I’ve had to start going to Chipotle because the Moes app is always messing up. The first time I got on the app it said that my location was completely out of all of the protein options. I knew that had to be wrong so I tried calling. The phone call just kept saying the same automated message every time, no matter what I pressed. Finally my fiancé went up there and made a to go order and of course they had all of the proteins. The second time the same thing happened and at that point I decided I had to start going to Chipotle. Frankly, I think Moes is better, the queso and the proteins, but until this gets fixed I’m going to have to compromise.

What a Ripoff

I downloaded the app 5 days ago after seeing someone else use it for rewards. After the meal I was given 2 promos 1 for free queso and 1 for $5 off. Me and my wife came back to the restaurant today expecting to use the promos toward my next meal. For some reason even though it was only day 5 and I was supposed to have 7 days. The app said the promo for free queso was expired and would only bring up a blank screen. Me and my wife decided to get in line to order and had our items made then when it came time too checkout. I brought up the app to get the $5 off promo reward but instead was greeted with a blank screen.

Needless to say You have lost 2 customers today thanks to the crappy programming of this app. Do everyone a favor and take it to behind the barn and put it out of its misery! Once you do we may consider returning to Moe’s

Best restaurant app

Unlike other apps, Moe’s has never once asked me to review their app (that I can remember). Thinking on this I realized how also unlike many other apps, they actually DESERVE a review on their app! Moe’s reward system is the best out of the restaurants I know, and they are constantly giving away promotions and free food and better rewards, way more often than their competitors. Add to this the fact that Moe’s is absolutely delicious and you’ve got the best restaurant app on the U.S. market. Thank you Moe’s for being such a great company with such a great app! You deserved this review even more than those who push for them in the app.

Missing Ingredients

Overall the app is ok - very repetitive and I feel like you need to click a lot of buttons just to add an item to your order.
****App developers - please fix this glitch!!!—-> If you select a veggie stack on the app you don’t get the same topping options as you do for the other types of stacks. For example, I don’t have the option for grilled pepper, grilled onion, fresh jalapeño, fresh onion, or cucumber, whereas those are all options if you select a chicken stack or other stack with meat/tofu. The “special instructions” box only allows 32 characters which isn’t enough to type in all of the extras that are standard options for everyone else.

Horrible app

T-mobile offered $4 burritos, so my family decided to use them for dinner. Took 40 min of going back and forth with the Moe’s app to get everyone’s order working. Not user friendly and very glitchy. Coupon wouldn’t show up at checkout even though it was in the my rewards tab. The location next to us said not accepting online orders even though they said they were when we called. They offered a free queso. Never could get that to go through and had to give up. Overall, wasn’t worth it. I used to use it all the time years ago. Looks like it’s gone downhill since then.
