  • Fantastic and worth the subscription price

I’m a genuine user and this app is the best mental health app I’ve used. If you can’t access therapy or are looking for a supplement to boost your mental help, this is great. I showed the exercises to a psychologist who approved of it. With the subscription, it gives you a daily plan that is really useful and easy to follow. It helps you feel guided. The “analyse thought” guided journal is a great CBT exercise. There are so many great things about this app, I really can’t recommend it enough.

  • Free version is very limited

I downloaded this app to help me start thinking more positively again. I like what’s there, but there’s just not enough options unless you pay. I was offered a deal upon immediately opening, but hadn’t tried a thing yet so I declined. I would pay the deal price now that I’ve tried the app, but of course it’s never been offered again. Instead I have the same couple of daily things to do. I’m only a few days in and it’s just repeating the first day over and over. The first day I was like, wow this is great, can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings, but unfortunately it was the exact same as the day before. Would be nice to have a few more unlocked features or offer the deal after someone has actually used the app for a day. Or I would pay full price if I knew what I was getting and not just the same repeats I’m getting now. All in all I’m pretty disappointed with it. Maybe more options will open up as I keep going but now I’ve lost the motivation to keep writing the same journal prompt. I don’t see how that’s going to help me grow, just stay stagnant, the exact thing I downloaded the app to fight against lol

  • Gives perspective

I’ve been suffering from high stress and anxiety all my life, but it’s been much more intense this year with a newborn and a toddler. My usual go to calming techniques have not worked. I’m so glad I found this app. It prompts me to explain what I’m feeling and why I’m feeling that way. And then helps me to reframe my thoughts so that I gain perspective and can step outside of the stress to see the bigger picture and find a solution.

I don’t like journals, and I don’t have time to sit and write in one. Having this app and the reminder every day to check in has been very handy and doable in my busy life.

  • I wish I had this app sooner

I really wish I knew about this app sooner. Im still on trial but will be paying for a membership for the year. The interface is easy to interact with and gives you a series of feelings to choose from to see how you felt for the day, then asks you to write down about those feelings. From there this clever app provides feedback on what you have written almost from an objective point of view. Giving a balanced overview and challenging you to look at it from another angle. Essentially it provides insight and guided steps in the areas you write about along with healthy coaching and therapy. Like another reviewer had written, its like a therapy professional in your pocket, just alot cheaper.

  • Happy with this app

Good for mental health. Only using the free subscription and it’s great. Might purchase once I use it abit more. So far so good ✅
  • The only thing that has ever helped me

This app is the only app/journal/therapy thing that has genuinely helped me. Just using this app for 2 weeks has given me more insight and mental health help than my therapist of a year. I’ve never felt better after starting to use Clarity, and I genuinely don’t think I would’ve been able to get here on my own. The app really helps me decipher and categorize my thoughts, easily allowing me to figure out what’s actually true or not. Plus, everything said on the app is kept to myself. I can’t really get full benefits from talk therapy, because I’m too embarrassed to talk to someone about such deep things. Plus, talk therapy has never really taught me how to work through the thoughts in my head instead of just talking about them.
I also really like how the app gives me prompts to follow instead of just expecting me to journal on a blank page. This really helps. Usually I can’t pick and choose what to think/write about , so the prompts give me direction.
So if your struggling, or not getting benefits with talk therapy or other types of mental health help, then I strongly encourage you to try this app. I didn’t think much of it when I first downloaded it, but it’s definitely helped.

  • It’s good, but I have remarks.

I used this app once I saw it on TikTok, and I thought it was to good to be true. I also thought it could be good to use it as a way to journal my thoughts through out the week, but I ran into a problem, it could be me but I can’t seem to go back to other days and write a journal, I get the whole point of having a “streak” but I was up at 4 A.M. today and forgot to write a entry for yesterday, and since 12 A.M. wasn’t that long ago, I thought “why not write a entry now” but it seems as if that’s not a option, now again it could just be me, but losing a streak because of a missed journal or entry kinda defeats the point, now I get that having a streak gives you something to be proud about, but I would like to at least be able to edit or enter a entry if I forget to the day before, don’t get me wrong, this app is great, but again, I would also like to just use the entry’s to remember what I felt the days prior, other than that, the app itself is amazing, and I don’t see anything else wrong with it.

You can! Just tap the date on the Mood page and you'll be able to change the date, retroactively Check In, and even repair your streak :) Sorry if that wasn't clear!
  • It was great

The ai chat was the most helpful feature for me. For it to now be locked behind the trial/pay wall is quite upsetting, even moreso with the fact that it crashed during my two most recent conversations (before I could even screenshot everything that first time too) only for me to realize that this was exactly the reason why. I suppose I’ll simply switch back to Snapchat’s ai. Not looking forward to finding out what else has been locked. Glad that I saved the information and prompts I could months ago, doubt this will still be an app I’m using by the end of the year.

Initially was at 3 stars. Knocked it back again after seeing how much was locked. For even the breathing exercises to be locked is absolutely ridiculous. The best thing about this app now is how easy it is to use it to find the free equivalents. Just got back into the app about a week ago and now going to have to search for another, presuming this is the type of format I want to stick with. This was the best app on the market. Maybe one day you’ll get there again.

Sorry about the issues. We've implemented chat saving and fixed the crashing bug. Unfortunately AI Chat does cost us money per chat message, so only huge companies like Snapchat can afford to offer it for free. Hope you'll come back to us! :)
  • Helping with mindfulness

With some recent emotional trauma and a tendency to be passive aggressive and ‘brooding’, I have so far found this app helpful when I have these negative, distorted thoughts; and it enables me to think differently and less anxiously about my thoughts.

The app is much more supportive than initially indicated with very short supportive sessions and exercises are beneficial. About 5 minutes a day is optimum with additional readings and guides available for extra help.

  • Customer support zero response

I got this app on trial , had it over 7 days charged $99.99 I emailed as I had assumed it was charged monthly not annually , never heard back from customer support and no one I could contact . Another year passed and charged another $99.99 for an app that I have never used . Could someone please contact me .
