  • Existing customer cannot create a new account

    I tried multiple times to create a new account and it failed because of my phone number or email, which doesn’t make any sense because I want my points back. The app worked so well before! Why did you change it?!!
  • Conversion is Confusing

    The notice that popped up when I tried to log into the App the first time said accounts created before November 7, 2023 needed to be recreated. When I tried to ‘recreate’ the account, it said my email address was already linked to an account. After a bunch of trial and error, I reset my password and it seemed to work. The store employees had not been trained on the conversion process, or how to use the app, so the whole process was trial and error. I’m sure I’ll get used to the new system, but right now the app conversion feels like a huge pain. This wasn’t thought through very well.

  • New App :(

    I was excited for the new app but there are issues. I was prompted to create a new account but it wouldn’t let me because my phone number is already in use???

    I tried to check out as a guest and it kept declining my payment method (no matter which card I used). I was going to order quick and pick up on my way home. Now I’ve been sitting in the parking lot for 20 minutes just trying to get it ordered.

    Definitely doesn’t make me eager to order Costa Vida again.

  • Hate the update.

    The new reward system stinks. You cannot apply your points to the order but have to earn X number of points for drink, dessert, etc. It’s almost like they don’t want people to use their rewards. It’s almost like they are intentionally alienating loyal customers. Okay, we can eat somewhere else.
  • Terrible update

    This was a really well-made app and I was always really impressed with it. Now it’s been ruined. As others have mentioned, you have to re-sign up, which is insanely out-of-touch.
    Additionally, so many links take you out of the app and force you to sign in using a web browser.

    There’s also no way to scan receipts, within the app, Apple Pay is missing, and the rewards system itself has changed, too.

    Please listen to your customers and revert to the old app. It doesn’t matter how much money you’ve put into the new system/provider, dump them and go back to what works while you can.
    After reverting to the old app, consider features that add value to the app, instead of taking it away:
    - Sign-in with Apple.
    - Apple Wallet pass for scanning rewards.
    - Apple Pay for online orders.
    - Home Screen widget showing available points/rewards.
    - Siri Shortcuts.

    There are so many ways you can add to an already great app. It doesn’t make sense why you would decide to use an entirely new system. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

    P.S. Please stop asking for tips on pick-up orders or orders in general, just pay your employees fairly. Your customers already paid for their food, if you can’t manage your finances well enough based on what you charge then you have bigger issues than this app.

  • New rewards are worth less, requires new account, collects more data

    Title says it all. Whenever a company tries really really hard to get you excited for a new product or service that replaces an old one that had no problems, ask yourself why.
  • THE WORST

    Don’t download the new app unless you want to lose all your current rewards!!! I had $17 or more in rewards that didn’t transfer over like it states it will!!!! Also now you just have to spend $150 just to get 1 entree the worst rewards ever
  • New app not working

    I keep trying to create a new account but get error messages after filling in all the required boxes. It also doesn’t tell me what the error is specifically. Then I try to login using an existing account since I had one before the upgrade and want to transfer/link my old points, but then it says I need to create a new account. Which I clearly can’t do with the error messages. Very clunky and obviously not ready to roll out for production. Please fix these bugs!

  • Portion sizes

    Love the food but hate the shrinkage in portion size. I can live with a smaller portion but not the same or higher price to upgrade to less than what we had before
  • App is trash

    The app makes you create a new account. It says to use the same email as your old account so rewards can be transferred, but if you use the same email, you get an error that the email is already in use.

    It also doesn’t let you paste a password on the login screen, so you can’t use a password manager. Apple Pay doesn’t work, you have to enter your card number. It’s impossible to place an order.
