Unstable

This app is unstable. It logs you out after a time period and then you can’t get logged in again. Each trip I take requires IT support to get back in. Now I have a trip planned and I’m locked out again. I am telling my employer about this so that we remove it from our services. What a terrible experience.

Most efficient travel support

Amex global is very efficient, quick and easy to book platform for all your travel needs like air ticket, rental car, hotels etc. it shows the efficient and multiple options while booking. It’s easy to search and confirm the booking.
Having a app on phone, gives timely notifications that helps for all updates of your upcoming and current trip.
The customer support is also easy to connect and solve the problem efficiently.

Chat + Excellent Service = Happy Traveler

Last week I panicked when I got an alert that my flight was going to be delayed but your chat and service are top notch. Sitting in a mtg I was able to get immediate support from an actual human via chat which is so rare these days. I was so pleasantly surprised by the experience that I felt moved to write you. Thank you so much for saving the day!!

Essential

Great app , easy to navigate, has all my trips and details including confirmations easy ti access , particularly love the convenience of Chat function, who wants to call anymore?

Mis- information and total lack of assistance

I was sent 2 text messages and an email from AmEx to say my flight was cancelled and would I like some help.

I replied that I would like some help. I tried calling and the in line chat and no one responded for over 8 hours.

The EA in the local office tried to assist and was on hold to AmEx for over 2 hours.

My EA was on hold to AmEx for over 1.5 hours.

As it turned out the flight wasn't cancelled - but we only managed to get in touch with AmEx on this after we had purchased a new ticket.

Great travel companion

Sometimes receive updates here before the airline apps. If I’d change one thing, it would be the ability to book trips on app.

Can’t even log in

What good is the app if it won’t accept my login credentials? I can log in and out of the website on my computer just fine, but when I try to log in with the same exact information in the app, it tells me it’s wrong.

Less useful than a Call Center.

So, you’ve made an app. But I can’t do anything like cancel or modify a flight myself. I still need to talk to a person. But only through your app because you didn’t include the phone number in my itinerary. I have to download your app. Your app makes me sign up. You have privacy statements. Your app makes me talk to a bot. Your app queues me to talk to a person. Over text. Which means I can’t drive, or do anything else. I just sit here staring at my screen waiting for something to happen. All I want to do is phone someone, and say “I need to cancel that flight.” Or even better just hit a button to cancel it. But no, you have an app. An app that literally makes this more difficult than anything I have experienced before. And I get to pay for the pleasure. The only reason I use this is because my company forces me to use it. And I will now be actively campaigning for them to get something else. If this is the glorious future of apps, you can keep it.
