So Easy and Fast

This is my first time using HealthJoy. I requested a audio call from a doctor regarding some Uninary symptoms.

Dr called me in about 45 minutes. Introduced him self and where he was located an ER doctor in North Carolina. Ask about my symptoms and said he would prescribe antibiotics for me. Was so fast, very friendly and professional. I will be using this again!!

Best part is there is no copay I would have had to go to urgent care or my doctors office and pay

Amazing!

After all the nonsense I’ve been dealing with in relation to healthcare when helping my dad, or talking to pharmacies and providers that give me the run around, HealthJoy gave me hope. The people at concierge were extremely helpful, attentive and actually listened to help problem solve! They saved me a bunch of time and actually found what I had been looking for on my own, all day. I highly recommend them!!

Does the stuff I don’t like to do

Let me give a recent example - I received a bill for a medical service that was preventative and should have been free. I took a picture of the bill and submitted via HealthJoy for review. They found out the provider never submitted it to my insurance. HealthJoy had my provider submit it and now it will be covered. This one example saved me hours of investigating. I love it.

I never review apps but this one deserves it

I haven’t had health insurance since I lived with my parents so I have no idea how to find doctors, make sure they’re in-network, etc. This app made it so easy. I put in a request to find someone near me and they gave me a very detailed report of their efforts and why the person they recommended would be a good fit. They also offered alternative results if I need them. As someone that has no idea how to take care of their health but wants to start, this app has already helped in the first day I’ve used it.

Awful, not 24 hours by any stretch

Their normal/best response times according to their own people is around an hour. Daughter got sick on Sunday, took them two+ hours to have someone call for her. I told them three times to switch from my cell to my home phone because of the delay, and they never did. Called the original number THREE times. Then when I got sick today — Monday evening, not exactly a high traffic time generally — and they keep me “in line” for over 4 hours, and still never had a doctor. The best they could say was to try again in the morning when I might, maybe, only have two hours wait then (in addition to the 14 hours they’re already saying needs to pass from my original request). They have no business advertising as 24 hours when they clearly aren’t.

Quick and Comprehensive

I was able to upload a photo of my sons eye after I was certain he had pinkeye. I was speaking to a doctor quickly after submitting my request and had a comprehensive phone consultation and a RX on the way. I’ll definitely be using this app and service again as needed l! Way better then going to a doctor’s office where there is more sickness to be exposed to!

Makes Understanding Benefits Easier

HealthJoy is very convenient and extremely organized. Not to mention, the real people who assist you in the Chat feature are very timely in their research and answers. I am so glad my employer recommended this service, otherwise I would never have known about it and understanding my benefits would be far more challenging. Highly recommend using this app!

Infected eye

My son had an eye infection very similar to what he had last year. I was about to make an appointment at The Little Clinic but instead used my HealthJoy app. I submitted a photo of his eyes and within 10 min had a doctor call me and chat about the issue. He sent a prescription for antibiotics right to my pharmacy and all I had to do was drive to the pharmacy instead of physically going to the doctor and pharmacy. This is my first time using HealthJoy as well. It was super convenient for this situation. I highly recommend using HealthJoy!

Awesome

The app and service is great - I get stressed out trying to figure out what things are covered by insurance, offices in-network, making appointments, etc. which are all things the healthcare concierges can help with. Also the wallet is super convenient, basic information from healthcare cards in one place. Sometimes on chats it seems to disconnect, but it hasn’t been a problem as it typically reconnects pretty quickly. My actual health insurance isn’t the best but this app/ service is amazing.

Amazing app, extraordinary customer service and communicative.

I’ve used the services 4-5 times so far. Their beta stage of their concierge service is amazing.

They helped me find a needed mental health professional and miraculously had an appointment that week. From what I know, that’s rare right now during these troubled times for most.

I’ve been successful twice so far and each time they couldn’t get ahold of a doctor for my questions, they’d recommend others. I’ve also heard great feedback from the places they’ve recommended.

Keep up the great work and please know, people like me who either have no idea what they’re doing when finding medical care are grateful. I haven’t tried their 24/7 telehealth yet but that’s such a great sounding offer.

15/10 stars.
