Efficient and Recommended

My mother told me about this app for our health insurance plan and I had never used it until recently. I had noticed I was being overcharged for copays at my local doctors office and was on hold for half an hour before remembering I had this app! I submitted some pictures of my bills and within a few days they had accessed my claims, gotten in touch with the office billing department for me, and have notified me of the errors made. They got me a refund for everything I was overcharged for and it took me no longer than 5 minutes to provide the info they needed without making any calls in the process. They have been efficient in helping me find providers in my network and answering any and all questions I’ve had. I really recommend this app and I believe it will save lots of people time and unnecessary frustration/confusion!!

Fast and effective service!

I just requested to speak with a provider at 2:40 am Central Time for UTI symptoms. I got a call 5 minutes later with a real doctor who spoke with me about my symptoms and put in a prescription for an antibiotic and pain reliever. The HealthJoy app updated with a summary of my “visit” and confirmation of my prescription. This is amazing. I can’t believe I’ve been going to in-person urgent care and doctor visits like a chump in the past.

The BEST Service!!

My company subscribed to HealthJoy about 3 years ago and at first I wasn’t sure what the benefit was for employees. I can now say confidently that I would be at a severe loss without it.

This service is truly unbelievable; my wife and I have three children and as anyone who’s had a children know, you get lots of doctor visits and inevitable bills right from the start. I screen all of our bills with HealthJoy first, and they have saved us THOUSANDS by identifying billing errors, wrongfully denied insurance claims, and take the time to explain everything comprehensibly in layman’s terms.

I am writing this review because just today they saved me from paying another $121 by finding an error that the insurance company missed. It would have taken 2 hours out of my day to resolve this issue on my own, that’s a lot of time sitting on hold!

Super Convenient Care

HealthJoy bring super convenient care to my family and me. The app is easy to use and comprehensive. The chatbot “Joy” makes interacting around my healthcare and employee benefits a breeze. I have used it for several telemedicine visits that saved me trips to urgent care or the doctor’s office. The doctors were friendly and helpful. I have gotten provider and facility recommendations. That saved me time and effort. I used the scheduling feature to book a dental checkup with a new provider that Joy recommended. HealthJoy is fantastic.

Excellent turnaround

I requested a consult at 12:30 pm and was contacted by 2 pm. The app was easy to navigate and use to upload photos and describe the issue I needed a consult about. The doctor was professional and engaged, and gave thorough instructions for the care and medicine she provided. The follow up through the app was awesome, too. This experience saved me the hassle of leaving my home to the nearest urgent care (20 minutes away) and the high copay and exposure to germs (especially now during the coronavirus social distancing). I highly recommend it.

I absolutely LOVE this app!!

I use it all the time. Not only will they schedule a teledoc appointment for me with a medical provider, they also contact my insurance company on my behalf to get answers to ANY questions that I may have. I just had them contact my insurance company to review a bill that I got from a provider. I received a VERY detailed response 2 days later and they offered to schedule a phone call appointment to discuss it further! It wasn’t necessary as their written explanation was so detailed. This saved me hours on the phone! I highly recommended downloading this app if your employer has elected this coverage for you!

Quick, easy, and thorough!

I couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was to speak to a doctor especially during this crazy pandemic. She was super helpful and kind. She listened very well and explained everything thoroughly. She calmed my fears which was huge for me. The best part was never having to go into a doctors office where I could catch something else or share what I have. I will be using this as much as possible!

Great app and service!!

This app and service is great!!! They are able to check your insurance benefits, create appointments, check results and even you can request a billing review and they call your insurance, providers and all the people involve on the claim and they will give you an explanation with references numbers and everything!!!! I don’t have any other word than THANK YOU!!! it was a relief to have all the claim checked by you and without the tedious part of calling ...

SO HELPFUL

I am on vacation in Vegas, the first night (last night) I had one of the WORST allergic reactions I have ever had! I was wheezing, itchying and my eyes swelled up to half closed. I got better but my eyes were so bad this morning! I looked TERRIBLE. I got in contact with a DR on here cause out of state doctor bills can be so bad and so unhelpful since you’ll have to go to a hospital.. they were so helpful! Called a order in for me, and hours later I am feeling SO much better! Thank you health joy and doctors

So Frustrating!

Honestly do not waste your time here. It would take less time to go see your regular doctor. I am not normally one to review since I’m pretty patient and understand things happen but wow this has been an awful experience! There’s been so much run around.
There’s no quick explanation I can give, so here’s the full story:
When they first called, I couldn’t hear anything on the other line. No big deal, I get that glitches happen. But when I got a call saying they’d tried calling back and I wasn’t answering when the doctor called, I started to get a little irritated. I wasn’t getting any calls. They called later to give me the same speech. I was like please just connect me since obviously they’re not getting through. When I was connected I could barely hear the doctor, so I wasn’t even sure who I was talking to. He seemed to get irritated with me, and then just prescribed me something, I’m not sure what, and hung up. Mind you, I’m at work while this is all going down. I have to keep getting up from my desk on a very busy day to take care of this. Then, my phone starts absolutely blowing up. Call after call. I reject them because I’m very busy and tired of the back and forth, but they keep calling. After about 8 rejected calls I answer. And of course, there’s nobody on the line. Never never using this app again. Horrible experience.
