  • Very unhappy customer

    I would give zero stars if I could-2nd time in a row that I was dissatisfied!! After ordering online and arriving at the proper pick up time there was no orders waiting for pickup and no one behind the counter. Waited 10 minutes before someone showed up and handed me the package that was sitting behind the counter the whole time I was there waiting!Never again!! Doesn’t matter if it’s picked up or delivered your service is terrible. I would like a refund on my purchase!! Please respond.

  • Shorted our Order and Refused to make good

    Door Dash driver supposedly picked up 2 bags of food and 2 sodas. Only delivered 1 bag and 2 sodas. Missing Salad, Stress Reliever (ironic), sauce cup for Onion Rings, and Straws! Also no Napkins sent! Food we did receive was okay. Fries and Onion Rings are kinda blah. Chicago Dogs and Italian Beef were good but considering we got ripped off and hung up on the 2nd time we called the store about it…Well avoid this place. Store is location at 520 W Taylor. Staff at the store was flatout rude and either they ripped us off or the door dash driver did

  • Birthday “Kit” with 99 cent candles 🙁

    I must say Portillo’s chocolate cake is very delicious and a special treat! I ordered a cake for my daughter for her birthday! I saw they have a birthday “Kit” that says it includes PortilloCandles. It doesn’t have a description of the candles, but the cost is $5.00. I ASSUMED they were red large size candles like in the picture. What I received was a small box of multicolored little dollar store candles that I could have bought for $1.25. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS!

    Be aware of this when you are thinking of purchasing the Kit!

  • I didn’t want a mustard salad!

    Love Portillo’s when the employees care about following procedure. I don’t have a photo but will from now on. There was SO much mustard on my burger that I was glad to have been given a stack of napkins. I guess they wanted me to clean it all up. I asked for a single burger with only ketchup mustard pickles and extra tomato. The mustard was even on the top side of the bun. I’m glad I wasn’t wearing white!! Please District manager pay attention to this location!!!
    On another occasion I’ve had difficulty with the store manager who speaks like an immature macho man and had made an absurd comment to me that I needed to ask for a manager to take my order when I come because his employees can’t be trusted to put in a request for a a different bun. I told him that was silly and I would not be doing that. As if!! “Oh manager man could you please take my order manager man.” Pa-lease!!

  • Love Portillo's

    My wife and I are from Chicago and have loved Portillo's for many years. So happy they're in Texas now. Nobody does Italian beef or sausage sandwiches like Portillo's. We time our visits to avoid huge crowds but the fact that there are huge crowds tells you how many people love it!
  • Food good app bad

    I absolutely love Portillo’s, but hate using the app.
    When ordering on the app, it does not allow you to choose your location. If you work too far away from the store, you want to use it is a pain and cumbersome and impossible to change without going in the ditch or crashing and losing your life.
    The default orders for burgers and hotdogs are insane. I do not want a jumbo hotdog or a double cheeseburger. I want a single burger and a regular hotdog. Both have been ordered by me by accident because the defaults were insanely large why even have a default order let us pick what we want

    And finally let us choose a time for pick up so that you can make the order and have it ready when we want it ready. I am so tired of eating cold, french fries and cold onion rings. I am done ordering them so you have lost multiple sales in that category of food.

    Again, love food. Hate app.

  • Horrible!

    Wanted to start using the app to maybe save time because the line is always so long at lunch and dinner time! The app is horrible. You can't customize things the way you want, only the way they think you should have them. So often it doesn't accept my credit card. I've tried several times in the last couple of months to use the app and end up waiting in line at the drive-through or in person to order because I can't complete my order on the app.

  • Good Food

    The food is much better than any other fast food chain. App is easy enough to use. Sometimes the order gets messed up but they usually fix it without much trouble. I wish they’d bring back the good pastas like chicken siciliano. That was really good. And the portions have gotten smaller, thanks bidenomics.

    Have to say Joey Ruiz should run the restaurant, he goes up and above customer service , I was never going back because a month ago our food was cold and burnt, Couldn’t understand why because since u opened food was the best , But a friend from Canada made me take her to try , I just told Joey what happened he apologized and said it should never had happened, He made sure it was made like the first few times , My friend loved it , We will call to make sure when Joey is there , he even came up to us to make use everything was good , even gave us a wine cup when we said a water cup was ok , He said nope let me go find u the right one to use ,
