  • Terrible app! Don’t download this! Find quarters!

    This app takes all your private information and then requires you to add your credit card without giving you an option to pay only the toll using a secure payment app (like Apple Pay) forcing you to put a deposit of $15 for a $2 parking space. I don’t live near here so they keep my $15 when I should have only paid $2 for the hour plus I’ll be here. Horrible!

    When you set up the App you have a choice on how you want to fund your parking sessions – options are credit/debit card or open a Pango wallet which you need to make a deposit which is clearly indicated.   • Unnecessarily Bad

    In a crowded market of parking apps, this app stands out for all the wrong reasons. The biggest issue I have is the user experience, the app feels outdated and clumpy. The UI looks like a high schooler wrote it. Lastly, the app is not user friendly, especially compared to Park Mobile. Unfortunately, some parking lots force you to use this app, but if there was an option to use a different app, I would choose the different option nine out of ten times.
  • Paid Notifications

    I don't have much issue however why is the only notification I recieve for my time ending is an email like 10 mins after its over and another 1 hour before, and speaking to customer service to see if I got a ticket or if the car is even still there is pointless because they'll tell me "consult someone at the Parking lot" which is kinda counter intuitive since my car is parked there but all I want is accurate notification that aren't emails without having to subscribe for notifications.

  • I hate Pango.

    I deleted the app today after needing to file a dispute with my credit card company. They will RIP YOU OFF if given the chance. Do not expect this company to do the right thing by their customers. They say they are a “collecting company” so if you have any issues with accidentally overpaying your meter (I made a typo in the app and then immediately contacted them to fix it ) they will tell you “too bad” and keep your money. Carry quarters.

  • Easy to use

    Its use friendly and I really appreciate that you have the option to stop the meter if you are done before the max time or the time you initially paid for.
  • Thieving parking app

    Beware! Do not use this app or park in Pango parking spaces. Responsible apps like ParkMobile allow you to set a time limit for your parking . Pango does not, and in my case because i forgot to “log out” when i left my parking space after 45 minutes (who remembers to do this?) was billed for a FULL 24 HOURS OF PARKING. : over $20. I contacted customer service, and they refused to refund my money. This app is the worst and should be illegal.

    The location that you parked at has real-time parking with a max stay time of 24 hrs., you are notified (before you start the clock) that it is your responsibility to stop the clock on the app when you are done parking.   • Dumb-dumb billing model

    Needing to proactively end parking sessions is an unfair feature for the end user, and clearly benefits only local governments + Pango. I’m sure a lot of Pango’s revenue is people forgetting to end their sessions.

    “Pango” seems like a play on “pay and go”, but it’s not that simple with the Pango app. Pre-authorize, pay, remember to end your session, and go! Not quite as catchy…

    It’s crazy to have to pre-authorize $15 to park for five minutes in a town I’ll never go to again, with an app I’ll never use again. At least give users the option!

    Every other parking app takes payment for a specific amount of time, and has users add value if they need to extend their time. If users fail to extend time adequately, parking enforcement / ticketing exists for a reason and cities still get their revenue.

  • Easy to use

    Just added my license plate and credit card info, turned on location . Chose what zone I was parked in and chose 2 hours. Was easy to use only cost 1.74 for 2 hours in busy area of westchester NY which is reasonable
  • Shady and buggy

    First of all I’m not trynna spend 15 minutes frustrated in a hot parking garage with limited cell service downloading and registering for an app that wants ALL my information just to park somewhere once or twice ever. Also, the app is kinda buggy and not the most intuitive.

    Most importantly the app is kinda a scam, you don’t pay for the number of hours you want to park up front. It charges you for 24 hours of parking then you have to remember to “end your parking session” when you leave or else you’re stuck paying for all 24 hours.

    Note to business owners and landlords: Im going elsewhere from now on if I see that little Pango sign in your lot. It’s not worth it!

From what you describe in your review it looks like with your “limited cell service” you had issues connecting which could have caused your connecting issues, Pango does not control your cell service. We can also see that you were parking at a “Real-time location” vs a “Pre-pay location” the Real-time location gives you the ability to start and stop your session on actual parking minutes, we pre-authorize your parking session and only charge you for actual time parked.
  • Easy to use

    No issues with this app so far; it’s cheap and I would certainly recommend it to a friend.
