New updates?

I love this app it’s very convenient and more modern. I’m thankful the monitor is not like the old one that was the size of a USB. Some minor things I’d love to see is a live EKG or a heart rate monitor. I don’t know the technical reasons why the app doesn’t already have one, but it would be convenient for people without Apple Watches or other heart rate monitors.

This works? Really???

My pacemaker was put in July 8th. I have yet to be able to get the app to work and Medtronic has been no help. No app so no data… error message keeps stating error with Medtronic site. Please don’t close app. Funny only because I can’t even log in. Come on Medtronic get your IT people up to snuff or find some new ones. Written 29 Aug 2022. I will update if it ever works.

LINQ II monitor

This app tells you when it’s connected to Bluetooth and that’s ALL! No information even on heart rate. I am going to ask around to pacemaker users, in case I ever have to have a pacemaker, to see if there’s some other brand of pacemaker that gives information on THEIR heart to the patient. If you want information on your heart, get an Apple Watch and a blood pressure wrist cuff because you get ZERO information from this brand!

Impossible to connect

Tried multiple times, all permissions to allow Bluetooth but never connects

Horrible App

Does whomever writes this app test it? I’m going to report Medtronic to the FDA and Medicare. This app is not ready for prime time use. It’s especially not ready to be used as a device for tracking possible malignant arrhythmias. I have a Linq2. 1) most of the time when I hit record, it says it could take 9 minutes to do. Seriously? My device is set for 7 minute recordings. So the symptom is missed. Why can the activator do it in 15 seconds but your app takes 9 minutes? 50% of the time at 9 minutes, it says recording error. So again symptom lost. 2) if there is an update for the app, it won’t let you record your symptom until you update. Symptom lost. Is this a medical device or a toy? 3) if you don’t have a cellular or data connection, the app hangs and does not open. Again symptom lost. The app can’t trigger the linq2 without a data connection, but the activator can. Why? Does your developer realize this is a medical device and not a “toy” app? This is a horribly written and executed app. Certainly not something that Medtronic should be using for a medical device.

App Setup was not completed

Attempted multiple times to set up application on my cell phone. Deleted application from my phone, downloaded again, and attempted to set up. No luck. Same error message : “app setup was not completed. Make sure you are within 3 feet…”
Get your act together, Medtronic.

App Will Not Connect to My Device

I’m 33 years old with a loop recorder. I know how to user phones, Bluetooth, etc.

After multiple attempts the app fails to pair/ connect to my device. As a patient it’s extremely frustrating to have to deal with this and not user friendly at all

Would rate 5 stars if it worked with betas

This app is great, except every year I have to make a choice between running the new iOS beta software or having a functioning Medtronic app. The issue seems simple to fix on the coding end (just by acknowledging the next version of iOS as a valid software starting every WWDC), but every year I get a pop up saying the app doesn’t recognize my phone’s operating system. I can’t log in and I can’t get anything out of the app. I would love to be able to run the beta software without having to boot up an older iPhone and keep it running for 5 months out of the year.

Hi, Medtronic is committed to improving the app, and your feedback is an important part of this process.  Thank you for your input.

My data but I can’t see it

I’m why can’t I see the data collected on me! Don’t trust me with my own data I guess. On the patient care website for my hospital I can see all of my tests and results so I don’t buy the doctor concern with patients seeing data. And if so, tough. This is data about MY heart.

Linc

I have had several times where symptoms have been frightening. Unfortunately, I cannot let Medtronic know because my app refuses to let me do that. It has a space for symptoms… But no go…. Also there is no way for me to know what is going on. Why can’t I get the information that it is sending med Tronics and my doctor. I don’t understand this. I find it frustrating. I also find it frustrating to have to sleep next to my phone.

Last week for the first time I was going through an Afib episode. It lasted a couple hours and so far nothing heard from med Tronic. I don’t understand this
