Not a very good app
The symptom history never works. It always says it can’t connect with Medtronic network. The only good thing is, it appears that they get my symptoms anyway. Reporting is horrible. In one month I reported 200 symptoms, report that you get once a month doesn’t tell you or show you anything. I’ve been having symptoms for like 8 months. I’ve had loop recorder implanted for 2 of those. The doctor says it’s good the battery life is like 4 years. I hope it doesn’t take that long to figure out what’s going on, but I’ll never know because as patient we get to see nothing.

Contact to call centre is terrible
Great app for sending heart data apparently. But for patient to connect to the centre relies on a callback which leaves me on hold for too long. Needs a callback option or even a simple send and receive message like my pharmacy app has.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible App
First of all, there’s nowhere to report a bug. So the fact I have to come here for bug-reporting is unacceptable.
Second, about 1/3 of the time I go to submit a symptom, the app times out with no useful dialog as to why it was unable to report my symptom. So I’m having a heart thing, and the app wants me to pause my life and try, try again to tell it that I’m having said heart thing? I have patience for about 2 of those and then “nope”!
It takes 9 minutes to never to report a heart thing. BTW.
Third, this app has some serious issues with time zones. I suspect Medtronic has the issues, but regardless, tech and time zones should be in UTC. Too frequently, I open the app and it has the times/dates I’ve reported incorrect. Today, it had an event I reported recorded last night documented as in the future (this evening)! My UTC offset is -4 and there’s just no way it was a time zone issue the app was communicating but a complete blunder with time.
My insurance paid over $5K to put this device in me… I’d expect an app to work a little better.
And why can’t I see my ECGs from the events??

Frustrated
This app could be so much more useful to the patient in monitoring and improving their health by providing direct patient access to their heart data. Instead, Medtronic hides the data collected from the patient and we are left getting a monthly summary report with no specific data. I’m left reviewing data from my fitness tracker instead of my implanted cardiac device because of Medtronic’s refusal to provide this information direct to the patient. This is absurd. As such, I have shut off this app and no longer collect data. I’m very disappointed in this device and app limitations, especially knowing we could do so much better to further improve health of the patients just by simply providing access to their data.

Hi, Medtronic is committed to improving the app, and your feedback is an important part of this process. Thank you for your input.
Great start
App does exactly what it says on the tin, allows me to travel with my pacemaker without having to take additional boxes but doesn’t provide me we much info only hours active would be great if it would sync to apple health to provide more stats like resting heart rate sleep resting heart rate which would be great for cardiology appointments/rehab/heartfailure outside of the pacing team who are the only ones able to access the data

Disappointing technology and support
App unable to link with Medtronic for past 9 days. Support line is nothing but a queue. Creates anxiety for cardiac patients with enough to deal with.
Doesn't connect.
Doesn't connect. Tried on many devises and it just crashes after 'looking.'
Not good
Just as a reminder, the company that makes the device that’s keeping you alive is the same one that designed this app. Our only hope is the idiot (sorry) that thought up this disaster was not involved in implant systems design.
This is an app that's basically an iPhone (portrait) app. You know, the device with a display that’s bigger than an Apple Watch and not much else. To sign up, you will need to write down, on a piece of paper, or a different device, a password and the serial number of your device. Why, because once you start signing up you cannot leave the app. And since it’s portrait only, you can’t pull up a 2nd screen with that info on it.
Today was the second time I tried to get this app functional. Forgot what it took. Another fail as I was waiting in a doctors office and forgot I needed half an office to fill in the required info.
I’m quite proud as I have a brand new ICD. The Medtronic’s tech checked it out and gave me a clean bill of health. My doctor's nurse came in, looked at the info dump, went running out of the office and I heard some rather loud words. Upon her return I was told I needed a new device, immediately. It was Friday, I had to wait until Tuesday. Medtronic.

Pacemaker
Have had no issues with it.
Am well pleased with its operations and the the way its monitors and transmit my heat rate.

App should autostart after iPhone reset
App should restart automatically when iPhone is restarted or reset.
