  • Fine before big update

This app was totally fine before this most recent update. Coming from the Fitbit app prior to this, walkingspree was such an improvement from that. It was very user-friendly easy to sync and easy to add activity. This new overhaul is horrible. It is hard to find the spot to enter activity like cycling that doesn’t track properly on tracking devices, it doesnt always update steps/activity immediately after entering such activity (or from yesterday if tou forget to enter same day), and is not at all user friendly anymore. Average monthly steps are buried in a carusel you have to scroll through which is the only reason i use this app. 👎

Sorry to hear you're not enjoying the updated look! Your monthly steps are easily located on the main carousel along with your quarterly steps. Daily steps are featured at the top in the large step circle. But, we'd love to hear your feedback in detail, please email support@walkingspree.com, it is possible for us to customize the app for your organization and better suit your communal needs.
  • Years and years of bugs

This is one of the worst step tracker apps I’ve encountered. My workplace used this app for walking challenges a few years back and I had to bow out after several back and forths w customer service being unable to sync properly to my Fitbit account. It felt like I was dealing with a ragtag handful of developers playing guess and check to troubleshoot.

Three years later, I decided to give them another shot for another company walking challenge. The latest version is as terrible as the first. So many problems just logging in. After getting past that with the help of support, the app is still awful. Crashes EVERY time I click on Profile. Difficult to navigate. Terrible UI. Even the website doesn’t have a mobile version. Complete amateur hour. In tech, three years with no improvement would normally mean a sudden death. Walkingspree’s only edge here is that it isn’t widely enough used for people to shut it down.

Thank for your feedback. We will take all of your suggestions into consideration as we continue to improve the experience of our members. Good news is to sync with Fitbit you need only to connect your Walkingspree and Fitbit accounts and then open the Fitbit app every few days to send steps. We do hope you will give us another chance and update to the newest version. Please reach out to us at support@Walkingspree.com we'd like to hear more of your experience.
  • My Motivator!

With Walkingspree, I was encouraged to keep on stepping so as to compete with colleagues and coworkers. It’s a good feeling to do something that is as natural as walking and be competitive with others. When it comes to the challenges, I am always giving it all I can as to get that gift at the end of the challenge. I love everything Walkingspree. Thank you!

  • No chromecast, no iPad

Unfortunately, you don’t support playing your Les Mills videos back via chromecast, so I installed it on my iPad to try and get the videos on a screen I could actually see while working out.
No good. Although it runs on an iPad, it only uses the iPhone resolution and aspect ratio. So the videos appear in a tiny landscape window, inside a less tiny portrait one, on my iPad in landscape mode.
This makes the Les Mills videos absolutely useless, as either way the videos are too small to watch in any kind of sensible fashion.
Please support iPads properly, and please enable casting videos to larger devices. I’ll be uninstalling and deleting my account for now as I have no other use for this app.

Hi, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with this. You have the option of using Walkingspree web on either your laptop or smart TV browser. On iPads you have the option of viewing on full screen, you have to enable auto rotate and once you rotate your iPad to landscape, you will be presented the option to switch on to full screen. If you require further assistance, please send us an email at support@walkingspree.com
  • Terrible fitness tracker

Stick to the big name trackers. This one is a sham.

  • Great Customer Service

The one time I had an issue with the app, I wrote them an email with the problem I was having. Their team contacted me that same day and resolved my issue the following day. I was very impressed with their level of professionalism and wish others had the same customer service.

  • Great App

I use this app with work. It is easy to use and fun to see the friendly competition between all of my coworkers.
I like that I can see my ranking anytime and can push a bit harder to stay in the top 20!

Thank you for the amazing rating and great review, we are glad you love the app. Happy Stepping!
  • Not tracking

This app does not read your Apple Watch but claimed to retrieve data from Apple health. When I use only the phone it still only reads about 85% of the actual steps taken. The cal counter is not impressive due to the lack of fresh foods programmed in it is more suited for packaged processed or big restaurant chain meals. If it wasn’t for my employer rewards program I would probably delete it off my phone.

Hi, We would like to help improve your experience with us. Can you provide us your customer ID at support@walkingspree.com so that we can reach out?
  • Terrible app, terrible support

Worked ok for about a month then stopped tracking steps because it wasn’t connecting other Apple health as advertised. Contacted customer support and offered to show data proving the app wasn’t tracking properly and was completely ignored. There are better tracking apps than this it’s not worth the time or hassle.

  • MedsurgLife

This app never fetches data. I am always having to fetch it, even though it is linked to my Apple Watch. It’s a little frustrating when you try to look up your stats.
