  • Will not run in background

    I use the app for work related programs and use an Apple Watch to record steps. The Walkingspree app will not sync with the apple fitness applications or my watch without me opening and refreshing the app every hour. This is an interruption to my day and makes using the app more of a pain than it’s worth.

  • Great app

    My work does challenges in this app quarterly, and this has really helped motivate me to be more active. It’s super helpful to track steps and see my averages and everything. Only “complaint” is that sometimes it takes a long time/hangs while syncing steps.

  • Sync issues

    I have background sync enabled but then I’ll get emails that I haven’t logged in for 8 days. When I open the app, it will eventually sync but not all of the days missed. I wish there was also a “ sync now” button since sometimes it won’t sync right away. I use this app because my work sets up challenges through it.

    Hi Yes there is a sync now option. Once you open the app on the bottom of the dashboard you will see the Apple Health Logo select it and your steps would be force synced.   • Do not bother. Go elsewhere.

    I hate this app! It may as well have been written in the 1990’s. It doesn’t connect to the “supported devices” over half the time, so you have to force syncing.

    Their customer service is useless and more concerned with what their employees “know” than what their clients have been told (and the wording on their own support pages!).

    All in all, not a good experience with their organization. Find another company.

  • Love it except for the syncing issues

    Would give it a five if it wasn’t for the constant issues with syncing. It works great for 2-3 days. Then it doesn’t sync. It’s a mission to get it to work again.
  • Steps never match

    This app never loads the correct amount of steps. Im required to use it for my work benefits and I have to sync it daily to try and ensure it syncs my steps otherwise I will have days where it logs zero steps. The days it does log steps it logs half of what my phone actually reported. So I can walk over 11,000 steps and this app will show I walked 4,000 steps. Because I have to “walk” a certain distance for benefits at work and this is my proof so I can have medical covered but yet we’re stuck using this app that cant even correctly log info sync’d from the phone on how many steps I took in a day is sad. Please fix your product.

  • Stuck in last step

    I am not able to proceed after it’s asking “Do you have any tracking device”
    Don’t see any option to skip this step however It says connected to Apple Health.
  • Great updated app!

    This version is so much better than the first version I had. I also love the challenges - they are motivating! And the customer service gets 5 stars, too!
  • Message notifications

    I am enjoying this app so much that I forget that it tracks my steps and makes me much healthier with every single step. I just think that updating it with message notifications would be much helpful so we can read messages in real-time
  • Good but needs improvement

    Got signed up in an employer-initiated wellness program. In general I like the app, but there is room for improvement. First, it cannot reflect the walking steps instantly in the rank after I manually enter my steps, I have to wait couple of minutes to see my updated rank in employee list; second, i wish this can be synced with more, like the iFit and even some popular treadmills like the NordicTrack if possible.
