The best and most helpful app I’ve ever had! So easy to use and navigate. I went from having over 5000 photos / videos to just 1500. Does take some time to delete them all as you go through everything but a lot quicker and easier than doing it yourself, I spent an hour and a half and sorted through all my pictures and videos.Show lessniccwillss

This app is sensational for keeping on top of all the rubbish that builds up in your photos. As someone with young kids I take 10 of every photo trying to get that one good one and always think oh I will clean up all the junk photos one day but that day just never comes being so busy all the time plus it would take forever to do it manually. This is a VERY polished, highly function and user friendly app.
It finds thousands of photos and videos and places them into various different categories such as Duplicates, Similar, Blurry and more. You can then view each category and either let it delete everything straight away or go through and review each one, swiping up to keep or down to discard and then you can tap Trash at the end to confirm it. There’s also another handy option to view what you’ve chosen to discard so far in case you accidentally swiped down on something you wanted to keep and simply tap on it to undo the selection.
It’s all very fast and smooth and helped my to go through photos of (currently) my future wife and I, ready to print them out and hang around the marquee-reception!!

I downloaded this app for 3 specific reasons: 1. For the editing tools, like the option to blur the backgrounds of my photos. 2. For the “clean up albums & clear up space” feature. This automatic grouping feature is capable of automatically sorting through your albums and selecting things like blurry, low quality images that you can delete to clear up space. 3. Because it was SUPPOSED to be free. That’s why it gets 1 star — it was listed as a free app yet there wasn’t any of the features available unless you sign up for a monthly MINIMUM fee of $4.99. This means you download this app thinking some of these cool tools are supposed to be free yet none are. It only starts you on a “free trial” that will charge you for the app “renewal” automatically unless you catch it & cancel it. So basically useless as a “free app.” The fact that this app was intentionally misleading is what makes me lose respect & made me totally u willing to pay for the services within the app. I don’t like feeling scammed. I’m going 2 download a truly “free” app with similar features now. I also found snap seed, which I already found more useful (although it’s not got these exact features) but I’ll be hunting a non-misleading app to assist in clearing up photo space… or I’ll just manually go through & delete the duplicates, and accidental snaps that clutter my phone. Gemini Photos is in a free category because it offers an in-app purchase plan and can be installed for free, so users could try it out before making their decision about the purchase. It offers a three-day unlimited trial. According to App Store rules, apps that offer an in-app purchase model are sold in the free category. The information about the free trial is available under the Subscription and Pricing section in the description of Gemini on App Store. Works really well
I had almost filled my 50gb iCloud storage, with the majority of it (22gb) being from Photos. The app did a really good job of grouping similar photos together, but I did notice that the selected photo is not always the best. It groups pictures by the time they were taken, so pictures that were completely different were grouped together, and the selected photo eliminated other ones of different scenes that I also wanted to keep. I still give this 4 stars for how it was able to help me delete pics and videos easily so that I was able to regain 9gb in storage, preventing me from having to upgrade to the next iCloud storage plan.Show lessAnonymous98033
Actually usable now
After many months / years of bugfixes, it’s FINALLY at a point where I can actively use it on the regular. ‘Twas a long journey from the place where it was randomly recalculating for my whole photo library every time I opened the app.
It still overheats my phone, and there’s no settings for how similarly you want the photos to be treated, but overall it’s a lifesaver for an image hoarder like me. Recommended!Show lessImperator Hadrianus

How can I put this? At first I was very skeptical of this app because it didn’t seem like it would actually do what it said. But after running it and using the trial I was surprised at how much space it actually saved from my iPhone and my iCloud account. Even though the subscription is $20 in the trial I was able to save a lot of space and definitely deserves that price. Overall I would say $20 is a little expensive but it’s worth it. Helped me delete 2,000 photos in 24 hours
This app does a great job with helping delete old screenshots in bulk. As for others, it usually gets it right for deleting duplicates, especially photos that are taken in bursts. The feature to delete similars and keep the best is a lil iffy, but it just requires more time from the user to sift through the photos individually. Overall, it has really been helpful getting old junk photos off my phone. It does drain the battery quiet a bit so would not recommend keeping running all the time.Show lessmaghasswag
