Love this app and do not misplace or have to search for photos!
How many times have you downloaded a duplicate finder only to actually find that your photos or your contacts are actually missing… For good? Too many times is my answer… So I was a little hesitant to use this photo duplicate finder. However, I’ve had such great luck with Macpaw’s Clean My Mac and Clean My PC that I decided to give Gemini a try!
Just what I expected this time with this company… Total success!
I am a photographer. I cannot even begin to tell you how many burst photos I take and don’t want to keep. Not to mention how many cloud services I have to subscribe to in order to get the amount storage I need without paying more than I can afford.
This app might not keep me from taking more pictures than I actually will need for the job… But, I can rest assured that I won’t be storing any photos I won’t need in the future.❤️Show lesssusanmooremaddox
Best photo cleanup app out there
I’ve tried other apps and by far this is the VERY BEST photo cleanup app I’ve found!!!
It’s easy to use even the free trial allows unlimited photo removal of duplicate and similar photos YAY
My ex tried to hack into my iphone during our divorce he didn’t succeed but he did cause my phone to re sync all my photos in duplicate or triplicate (one folder anyway) this used 3/4 of my phones 128g capacity and I hated to have to clean it off my laptop so finally after 3!years I found an app that fixed my issues!!! Temporary One Star
So far the only good thing I have to say is I love the layout. However, I haven’t even been able to use the apps functions. I assume this is because I have 80,000 photos but this app will not load or function in any capacity. I saw someone mention that it takes them forever to load every time they start up the app but I haven’t even been able to get it to load once. I made the mistake of paying thinking that it wasn’t loading due to features being locked(yes, I know that doesn’t make much sense but I was tired and just wanted to sort photos and delete duplicates) so I’m a little upset that I payed for something that I can’t use. Hopefully the dev team responds to this and fixes the loading issue at some point in the future. I’m not sure why the app can’t just connect to the photos app and use that as a cache like google photos does.Show lessgeeb2001
Good concept but missing some functionality
The idea of this app is great. However, I wish there was a way to delete photos individually as you go through them. Your only option is to go through ALL of one category (screenshots, for example), select which ones you can want to keep/delete, and delete them in bulk at the end. I have over 1,000 screenshots I’m trying to sort out, so I have to set aside a lot of time to select/deselect all 1,000 photos and then hit the “delete” button (and hope I didn’t screw it up). I would find this much more useful if I could just go through 50 at a time, for example, and delete individually.Show lessemmm1996

I do a lot of iPhone photography and this app really helps to remove duplicates that aren't sharp (also video). Additionally, it declutters my phone from all those random screenshots by sorting them all in one bundle so you don’t have to search for them throughout your pictures and can pick and choose which to keep or remove. Make no mistake, you have full control in deciding what stays or goes to trash, but this app moves the process along at a faster pace by assisting and sorting everything for you. Photo cleanup is something I would imagine some might procrastinate on doing until your phone’s storage is full, but now it’s a quick and easy job! No more procrastinating!Show lessM. Willis
Fantastic Time Saver
As someone who takes a lot of photos/ videos at concerts and finds sorting through them all, mind numbing, this app cut down what would of taken HOURS to sort through my years worth of clutter. It even recognises similar photos and suggests the best one to keep, which is pretty cool. it’s accurate too, so i didn’t have to keep going back and forth comparing each picture.Show lessSo_mo666
SLOW with Live Photos. Annoying.
I downloaded this app (with a free 3 day trial) and a different app called Remove Master (free but has some ads) because Lucie Fink mentioned them both in a recent video about decluttering our digital spaces. I like the concept of this app, but I really REALLY strongly dislike how long it was taking to load my pictures. Every attempt to use it makes me wanna pull out my hair in frustration at the slowness. I noticed it mentioned the photos were “live” and I waited for one to load and checked and yup, they’re loading live which really slows this process down. Unlike Remove Master where I cleared out two months worth of unwanted pictures in literally just a couple of minutes (because they don’t load live there). I double checked to see if I could find a setting to make the photo not load live but I don’t see anything for that, and if it’s there it’s not intuitive. My recommendation is the app make the picture load on default NOT live and allow the option to view live. But pay for this slowness? No way. Canceling immediately.Show lessAuror3740
Absolutely love this!
I’ve nearly finished my 3 day free trial and I’ll subscribe for sure. This has made short work of the duplicates and ‘similars’ on my iPhone, there were around 6,500...a couple of hours spent over two nights (thoroughly enjoying the gems I forgot I had 😏) and it’s done. iCloud next (been putting that off), another 4,000+. Love this app only thing is I would love if this could integrate with google photos!! That’s the only thing- I don’t use iCloud to back up my photos cause it’s not worth it compared to Google photos or other backup programs that are free for way more space, that being said, I would 100% pay to have this forever if you could integrate this with Google photos or other apps other than just the apple photos, but as of now I’m only going to be using it to clean up my phone here and there cause I can’t use it on any of the thousands of photos I have on my google photos account. But I wish I could cause this app is just that good lolShow lessteyacw98
