My first journi book
I have just received my first book from Journi. Really happy how it turned out. Great coffee table piece. Photos can now be out on display rather than stuck on my phone where I can never find them. I am now going to get some more done after seeing how the format turns out.

User friendly
Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty user-friendly and while everything is not fully customisable, the options on offer are pretty good, from choosing a theme or setting one up yourself to adding new pages, new photos i process and texts too.

No access to shared albums continues to be a deal-breaker
July, 2024 (review revision #12): Another update, and yet ANOTHER year gone by, and STILL no way to access iCloud Shared Albums. Journi GmbH *really* needs to provide a way to use the standard iOS “photo picker” so we can access photos in shared albums!! (Please?!) When we get together for a group event, everybody puts their favorite photos into a shared album, and those albums are inaccessible with Journi! I know they have their own “shared photos” solution that they think is sufficient, BUT IT’S NOT. (People don’t want to deal with other apps and “special instructions”.) It’s enough of a challenge to get folks to add photos to an iCloud shared album (and that only takes a few taps!) Other apps on the App Store *do* allow access to shared albums, so it’s NOT a technical limitation. There have been lots of updates to the app in the years since I initially mentioned this but it continues to be ignored. 😢Show lessEddyGeez!

Unfortunately we do not get access to shared albums, but you can use our family & friends-photosource instead. When you are in the photo selector, switch the source from "phone" to "friends & family", give them the visible link, where they can then upload their photos and make them available for you.Absolutely Beautiful
First time to use Journi but no regrets be aze thd print quality was amazing! Easy to navigate app. You can re-arrange the photo as you like. I will certainly use Journi again for my future holiday photo and infact I am looking at my old holidays sp perhaps will do a print. Thank youJL434

I love my book very much. It turned out beautiful and the fact that it come with the maps of all the countries I visited and the dates makes it even better. I would definitely recommend and look forward to saving and ordering another as traveling around Europe this year. I only have 4 stars because of the price. Its extremely expensive. I believe it was about $160 but ended up spending about 130 since it was on sale. Other than the price there is not much to complain about. Great product for sure.Show lessGray12!
Holiday Journal
I have just put my prints from our lastest holiday in an album using Journi Print . It has been so easy to do! I really like that it pin points the places where the pictures were taken on a map and dates them . The quality of the albums is great too.I have used them every time since I found them .tonyburpee

I love this app. I’ve done 3 albums so far and are now working on my 4th. It is simple and easy to use. They produce beautiful photo books. They clean and are enjoyable to look through. I love how the app puts in the dates and maps of where each place is. Then you can choose colours for backgrounds and also themes which gives each album a professional look.

I’m so very happy with my order and can’t wait to give it to my husband for Father’s Day! Such a unique way of doing a photo book, including maps of where each photo was taken with a big map in the front showing everywhere you’ve been over the time period in the book (in our case, 5 years, traveling all over the eastern US, Iceland, France, and Germany! The printing is perfect - not too light or dark, vivid colors. Also it was easier to make than other photo books because I just put in the photos and the dates and maps were automatically pulled from the photo data, and there was no need to caption everything.
