Easy to Use
Just made my first photo book, didn’t take long to be able to navigate changing layout, moving photos around or deleting maps if not required. I would like the ability to place text in a different place on each page, if you change the text to left, right, middle, it changes the whole book. I had some photos where I would have liked to place the text underneath the photo e.g. a town name as the photos are in a logical chronological order the placement was not always in my preferred location with that option. Also the paper in my book was wavy - not flat, not a big deal but a little disappointing. Overall love it!Show lessIndyKaren
If you want a book to last, don’t buy this product.
The quality of the paper and photos was impeccable, this is the only positives of this product.
The binding of the hard backed books was designed by someone from ancient Egypt, that’s probably giving them way to much credit because at least the scrolls of ancient Egypt held together.
From the first opening the binding of the internal pages was coming away from the hard backed cover. The book will not sit flat and if I tried to get it to sit flat the pages would probably come away from the cover altogether. At $140 AUS for the photo album, my children’s $10 books from the local book shop are bound to a higher standard. They have to contend with a 3 year old pulling on the pages and cover.
This product will not last, avoid this company at all costs, buyer beware. I’ve only received the product today and have put in a complaint awaiting their response.Show less…-…-…-…-…-…-…-…-…
Easy to use, beautiful, love this app
I’ve used Journi to make a couple of memory books from pictures saved my on my phone. I found it very easy to navigate. There are a few features I wish it had like other apps. However, I love that I can use the pics directly from my phone. It’s convenient and easy to use. More importantly, I now have beautiful pictures saved in a memory book sitting on my coffee table which I can share with guests, or gift to family/friends ♥️Show lessRaine N.C

Awesome, customer service. Go above and beyond to solving my problem. Definitely 💯 deserving of appreciation. Because of that I told all my friends if they needed to print photos just use your app and you can do a lot of things for your photos. No access to shared albums continues to be a deal-breaker
January 2024… another update, another year gone by, and STILL no way to access iCloud Shared Albums. Journi GmbH *really* needs to provide a way to use the standard iOS “photo picker” so we can access photos in shared albums!! (Please?!) When we get together for a group event, everybody puts their favorite photos into a shared album, and those albums are inaccessible with Journi! I know they have their own “shared photos” solution that they think is sufficient, BUT IT’S NOT. (People don’t want to deal with other apps and “special instructions”.) It’s enough of a challenge to get folks to add photos to an iCloud shared album (and that only takes a few taps!) Other apps on the App Store *do* allow access to shared albums, so it’s NOT a technical limitation. There have been lots of updates to the app in the years since I initially mentioned this but it continues to be ignored. 😢Show lessEddyGeez!

Unfortunately we do not get access to shared albums, but you can use our family & friends-photosource instead. When you are in the photo selector, switch the source from "phone" to "friends & family", give them the visible link, where they can then upload their photos and make them available for you.I was really happy till I order my 3rd story book
I’ve ordered 2 story books previously and I was over the moon, it was perfect! Therefore, for a special one I’ve ordered my 3rd story book where all the pictures are supposed to be in a sequence. I have organised and ordered it accordingly but when I received it, I found that some of the pics are not according to the sequence and it made me sad!
I checked my ordered digital copy and there the sequence are fine but my printout copy is not according to my edited sequence! I am not sure what went wrong this time!Show lesshumaysha14
Love my book
I made our first book for our trip to Italy then cruise back to Florida. The map on the front made it so neat. The individual maps for the travel between cities are great also. The pictures were mostly easy to work with. I would love to be able to choose the number of pictures for a page from a drop down menu like on another app I use. I did have trouble changing pictures around, it could have been more user friendly. I love the end result. I got it very quickly. It was packaged great with no damage at all. I was of course searching for an app or site to create a photo book of our recent European Vacation and ran across Journi. I received my book this week and boy, it did not disappoint! First time user.
I made my first photo book with Journi Print and found it to be very user friendly. It was easy to load photos and personalize my pages. I was happily surprised to see them all presented chronologically with the addition of a map with pins of our locations. The final product was beautiful but arrived with one corner of the book ‘crunched’. A little disappointing since it was to be a gift but the Journi company responded to my concerns quickly and offered two options to fix the problem.
