Spamfest Beware
Within half an hour of installing the app and discovering that I needed to organize my photos first, I was bombarded with three pop-up notifications and two emails urging me to start using it, which was extremely frustrating. After uninstalling, I received two more emails within less than a day, leading to a tedious unsubscribe process where I had to manually opt out of each type of unwanted email. Developers take note, I would have likely used your app - but too much - printing photo books shouldn’t be a stress or a chore, it should be fun - you turned it into work.Show lessArthur Black

Hallo Arthur, this indeed does not sound correct and the way Journi normally deals with new customers. We would love to check this again - could you please send us screenshots of the emails you received within these 1-2 days to support@journiapp.com? I make a ton on coffee table books and thought this had potential. As far as the program, it is easy to use with a few advanced options. Unfortunately, the company is quick to delete your work if it takes you a little longer to complete your project. Because of their business model of routinely clearing out unfinished projects, I lost a lot of hard work. Because of this, I have chosen to go back to Shutterfly and will continue to give my projects/money to them. Shutterfly will not delete all your hard work just because your completion schedule doesn’t match with their business model.Show lessDepeters557

We are sorry to hear that we deleted one of your drafts which you still wanted to edit. In general we keep your drafts forever, if you from time to time check by in the app. If you don't open the app for more than 3 months, then we send you a warning email, that we will delete your draft after a week, as we believe that you are no longer wanting the draft. Just pop by in the app from time to time (at least once every 3 months) and we will save your drafts forever.Easy and nice
I wanted something that would do most of the work for me. This arranged my photos by dates, added maps, and captioned dates. It laid out the pages well and in an interesting way. I changed a few things but it had done most of the design and I just fine tuned it. The books came today and are beautiful. The color is amazing and there is no pixelation. No access to shared albums continues to be a deal-breaker
April, 2024: another update, ANOTHER year gone by, and STILL no way to access iCloud Shared Albums. Journi GmbH *really* needs to provide a way to use the standard iOS “photo picker” so we can access photos in shared albums!! (Please?!) When we get together for a group event, everybody puts their favorite photos into a shared album, and those albums are inaccessible with Journi! I know they have their own “shared photos” solution that they think is sufficient, BUT IT’S NOT. (People don’t want to deal with other apps and “special instructions”.) It’s enough of a challenge to get folks to add photos to an iCloud shared album (and that only takes a few taps!) Other apps on the App Store *do* allow access to shared albums, so it’s NOT a technical limitation. There have been lots of updates to the app in the years since I initially mentioned this but it continues to be ignored. 😢Show lessEddyGeez!

Unfortunately we do not get access to shared albums, but you can use our family & friends-photosource instead. When you are in the photo selector, switch the source from "phone" to "friends & family", give them the visible link, where they can then upload their photos and make them available for you.Blown away,
Saw this on an ad and took the plunge, it came back a few weeks later and we’re both blown away, stunning quality and the pictures from out Madeira vacation now have a home instead of stuck on our iPhone. Easy, with great service
The process of moving photos from my camera roll to the App was seamless and the automatic layout is perfect. It also allows for customisation to suit your layout preferences. Once I had submitted the order, I noticed a few mistakes. I was able to cancel the order (with a refund going into my account within minutes) and submit the new draft for publishing. Love this - best photo album app
I’ve made two photo albums with this app and it is so easy to use. I can’t think of one way it needs to improve. 🌟 I don’t want photos to only live in my phone so I put together a yearly album. It’s a lot of pictures and a lot of pages but I’ve never had a problem with this app. I keep it simple but do appreciate the many options that are available. We came back from holiday and decided to out our photos in a printed album instead of just keeping them on or phone and in the cloud, As I was looking through FB an advert came up regarding Journi so I decided to give it a go and downloaded it. From start to finish the app is very easy to use and you can move your photos how you want them. Finished off designing the layout etc and waited for delivery, Journi keeps you up to date with notifications and the book arrived, I must admit the finished copy is excellent and very good quality. It’s great how the photo book also shows you the places you have been with the map. Great quality and will be definitely planning our next journey so we can purchase another book.Show lessJoeluc90

I’ve thought about making a photo book of my pictures for some time now but have always been hesitant but finally decided to give it a go.
Journi Print was fun to create and allowed for flexibility of pictures to page, layout, and backgrounds. Added to which, I received the two books I made in just over a week of ordering. Am super happy and will continue to make books through Journi Print. 5 StarsShow lessCRSmith1981
