WONDERFUL APP FOR PHOTOBOOKS
I made a photobook for my husband for Xmas using this app and he cried when he opened it! These folks don’t just make books, they create memories. Sounds corny, but it’s true. They really care about their product and their customers. My book was delayed due to shipping beyond their control, but Journi looked into the delay and responded. Thank you!Show lessCaribourider

We really liked the app (and still do), but definitely have a desire for faster shipping. Our order was processed over two weeks ago and the album is no where near arriving at our doorstep. Per the tracking info, it sits at each location for 3-5 days. Hoping to receive the album be the end of the month at this point.Show less193371992

The app is super easy to use - as long as you don’t want to change too much. If you want to add photos or change the order of pictures on the pages it gets a little frustrating but I’m sure it’s because it’s a relatively new app.
Also it would be great if there was an option to leave pages blank (to add in memorabilia like tickets, handwritten notes etc) and also the option to add in maps, dates and emojis anywhere on the pages/throughout the book.
Apart from those tiny tweaks I highly recommend this app! My book looks incredible and took me around 15 minutes to make (as a first time user).Show lesscharleychesh

Absolutely love my book; the quality is really good and it arrived in quick time :)riley 93
Not great
I chose to use this company as it allowed you to upload as many pictures as you wanted. I used the company’s website not the app & it was a nightmare to use.
4 issues I had were,
1) you could not choose a layout for the page, you have to pick a pre made layout which takes ages to go through all the combinations
2) you have to preload all the pictures you want in the book at the beginning & then if you have an extra page you can’t get rid of it without the layouts changing & the pictures moving pages - very frustrating
3) you can’t drag the pictures from one page to another, you have to load them every time
4) the app resized one picture which I didn’t notice & when I got the printed book it had chopped the head off one of the pictures.
It took a long time to make this book because of the problems above as I had to keep loading pictures again and again if they were on the wrong page.
It would also be very helpful if they had an undo button.
The quality of the book pages were not very good.

Thanks for your feedback! We too agree that we still have to make some adjustments on our newly released webversion of Journi and therefor we are glad you give us your valuable insights. 1) we try to automate layouting as good as possible to save you time- in case you are not happy with the first suggestion of our algorithm, you can always pick another layout via our shuffle option or our soon to come layout picker 2) only fully uploaded pictures we can put into print - on the relayouting we are currently working to improve 3) you can move a photo from one page to another by excluding it on page A and including it from the excluded elements again on page B - so there is no need to reload them 4) we try our best with our algorithm to not crop any of your photos - in rare cases this is not possible though. If your photos does have face recognition in its data we make sure that heads/faces are not affected by any cropping. In case they don't have face recognition we rely on the user checking the layouts created. What we can tell for sure is that our webversion will further improve with time and we would be happy if you'd give it another try in the future!Finally a photo book worth completing
I have been trying to find an easy to use photo book app to link with my iPhone pictures. Many many others just don’t look the same quality. Now, I have only just ordered so am yet to receive the book. But I’ve been meaning to create a book since Christmas and had downloaded various other apps.Lexxxxxi
Finally an album that is almost perfect!
I am a big photo keeper type (15,000 edited photos in my desktop...) and have tried several products over the years...including Facebook albums which are 98% pre selected and takes hours to delete photos and place them in the order you desire. I decided to try this company and was very pleased with the beautiful quality of the paper and cover and love the date captions! I think the app needs to improve photo repetition, as another review noticed. Highly recommended!!Show lessZeus28

I had fun making my first book and was impressed with the quality. I had painstakingly created a border on each of my photos before uploading them for printing. To my dismay almost all of my images were cropped and my borders were cut off. It would have been perfect except for that.r. donze
Excellent product
I had struggled to get a book set up, and as it was a Christmas gift for my husband I ended up being very much against the clock. This system is easy to work, the quality of the finished product is first class and it arrived 5 days ahead of schedule. I now have plans for a few more. Thank you so much.Show lessRobSunshine
