  • Outdoor camera

    Keeps going off line. Difficult to reset especially as it is high on house.
  • Easy installation

    Worked first time I tried! I would recommend this for anyone! My friend came over and couldn’t get in because my door was locked and called me I unlocked it for him and I was a few towns over!
  • Basics are there but “auto” settings are not reliable

    Love this lock system. It was easy to install and set up with the app. Manual locking and unlocking on demand work well — from any location, over the internet. BUT the Auto Unlock feature, which is supposed to sense when you are returning home and unlock the door automatically is spotty in performance. I’ve tried rebooting my phone, reinstalling the app, and sometimes it works flawlessly — but other times not.

  • Good product, app is so so.

    App is good, reviewing the alerts is a bit annoying as it will freeze the app, also having the mic on to long will cause it to drop the sound or freeze the app. Overall great product app is ok, not a deal breaker by any stretch, still flawless monitoring. UPDATED: recently had some issues with the camera not recording alert and throwing an error message, called customer service and undated firmware seems to be ok now. Good camera awesome resolution. For the price point BOSMA can’t be beat.

  • Excellent with a few adjustments

    Purchased a Bosma Lock with a keypad for my personal home in an Airbnb after using August and being very dissatisfied.

    Pros:
    - Easy set up
    - Cheaper (compare to $270 August Wifi lock)
    -good usability of app
    - Wifi and Bluetooth operable (if wifi is out)

    Improvements needed:
    - You cannot view saved codes anywhere, on the app or on the website
    - You cannot selectively turn on/off notifications for specific locks if you have multiple locks. You were either receive all notifications or no notifications

  • Great product but motor conks out

    App is fine. Love the physical product it controls so much we bought 3 … for the same door. The motor died twice. If the door is slightly ajar the device keeps trying to lock forever. Burns out the motor. We suggest a five try and quit control in the app.
  • Only problem I found

    The only thing I don’t like is that it resets the camera at some point every day within 24 hours and you miss video recordings for that one minute or two minute time frame
  • Connection problems

    Since I’ve had the camera, the ability to remotely access the live feed has been spotty at best. I spent a great deal of time with Support shortly after I got it, but it didn’t help. When I get a motion or sound alert, it shouldn’t take 10 minutes of trying to access the camera in order to see what’s going on. The way I ultimately solved the problem was to get a different brand of camera. A plus of the Bosma camera is the sound alert, so I operate both cameras side-by-side now. When I get an alert from the Bosma camera, I access a other one to see what the issue is.

  • Generally pleased with the product and app.

    There is always room for a little security app fine tuning; perhaps a little more explanation or another category or button, and firmware updates. The company and developers have been conscientious in this regard. Generally I have been pleased with my Bosma XL Pro security camera and app. Easy to use and fairly reliable uptime. Not so much with the Bosma X1 interior camera. I have difficulty keeping it on line. When I return to my condo I shall work on it some more. Paring appears to be my problem. Hope this helps to whoever reads. App developers keep up the good work.

  • Bosma Ex pro

    So far I’m very happy with my Bosma Ex pro I’ve had it for just about a month one small problem with an Internet connection and contacted customer service the support was outstanding would highly recommend this product
