Impossible to file charge back
It’s better not to use this bank with merchants unless you are 100% sure of their reputation. I had to file a chargeback, but their team took weeks to respond and used a standard template reply, asking for more evidence without specifying what exactly was needed. If you don’t have a receipt, they’ll tell you one is required. If you find and submit it, they’ll then say you need even more evidence, claiming the receipt and explanation aren’t enough. In another case, they replied with the exact same emails. It feels like you’re not dealing with real humans but rather with a contracted call center, possibly based somewhere in Pakistan, working for Step.
Another downsides, you can’t search through transactions, you can’t block merchants, you can’t create multiple virtual cards, virtual card not accepted by some merchants for subscriptions or revolving payments.
Will continue use Revolut till step fix at least few of this problems
