  • Hiccups in the setup process but glorious once I got it working.

    I’m not sure why but I wasn’t able to connect to my Q5 from this app on my iPhone. If there’s any failure the app gives a very vague list of things to try, like changing your router’s WI-FI password 😳 After hours and hours of trying everything I finally realized I could download the app on my iPad and try connecting from there. That worked on the first try and the Q5 was connected and working on all my devices. The actual usage of the device has been great! I’m subtracting 1 star due to the setup hassles.

  • RoboRock Rocks the WiFi Connection Bug Needs Fixing

    RoboRock S7 is the best vacuum robot I’ve ever had. Just amazing. The review is for the app. What kills it for me is the issue with connecting to the WiFi. The first time I struggled but somehow it connected and I’ve been using it every day. Yesterday the lights went out and came right back. This caused RoboRock to disconnect from my WiFi. To make a long story short, almost two days and unable to connect to the WiFi with RoboRock app. I downloaded Mi Home app and in less than a minute, not only was RoboRock connected to the WiFi, my entire home map was loaded and i sent RoboRock to do his thing.

    Please fix the WiFi Bug in you application.

  • Intuitive app and programming

    I found the app to be very well written and does an excellent job in connecting to and controlling the unit. The interface is intuitive and the app his attractive visuals and easy to find settings and programming. The only missing feature (or one I haven’t found yet) is the ability to add to a map a room that wasn’t initially mapped out. I have searched online and the only effective and consistent way to do so is to remap a whole floor which can be challenging if thee whole floor is not prestaged for mapping - e.g. laundry baskets or small chairs put up out of the way.

  • Solid products and great support

    I’ve used the app with my S4 Max for a few years now and it’s been great. I’ve been able to set a schedule and pretty much forget about it. I just saw the Q5 system with the auto-empty bin and went ahead and ordered that as well since I’ve had such good luck with my Roborock S4 Max. Within just a few days of ordering I noticed that the device went on sale and contacted the sales team to see if I might be able to get a credit. Without even asking a question, their team gave me a credit for the difference and responded back extremely quickly to let me know they processed the refund. I’ve impressed with the app, the products, and the support and can easily recommend Roborock to anyone.

  • Great app - but missing one key function

    I’ve used this for a year now and wouldn’t be without it. My only complaint is that the app doesn’t allow you to switch between maps, and as my house has five levels (because of steps, not number of floors!) I have to do that a lot - but so will anyone using multi-storey maps. The vacuum doesn’t always recognise where it is to switch maps automatically and will sometimes just try to update an existing map. It’s something customers have been asking for for ages now.

  • Best purchase of 2021!

    I share with everyone I know what my best purchase was and why. This cleans so well and even though it’s almost like a child that you have to look out for to make sure it’s not running over something or getting stuck on area rugs, it’s all worth it when you see how clean your floor looks. I have an RV with a long hair cat and a long hair dog and I could not live without running this every day!

  • Great app but missing key feature

    It would be great to be able to place the charging dock on the map. My robot forgets or misplaced it often and trying to get it to learn where it is time consuming and hard.

  • Love my Roborock, except when wifi connection stops working

    I’ve had to swap to use the Mi Home app, as this app says my device is offline (it’s connecting perfectly fine in the Mi Home app). Support team said I need to completely reset my robot to factory settings & start again; this is terrible support.

    Can I suggest that you will eliminate a lot of pain/friction users like I experience when this occurs (I’ve seen countless others on Facebook also asking for advice on how to fix this), if you can come up with a way that lets us save our treasured maps to our account instead of to the device itself, so that if we need to reset we can restore our map/s back to the device from our account once it’s reset & restored.

    The device itself is a god send, and the functionality you’ve developed & enhanced upon since I got mine, are why I would still overall recommend your business.

  • Vacuum is perfect, app needs some help

    Love my S6 pure. Has worked great since the day I got it. The app works as in it does what you tell it to do. My biggest qualm with the app is the map management. With the map saving (which I know you can turn off) it often has slivers of one room the the room behind it. So the vacuum will vacuum a room and then go around the house to get a few inches of the other room, thinking they’re the same room. However the app doesn’t let you merge and divide very well, in fact it just makes it worse. Fix the map editing and management and you’ve got a 5 star app
