I’m just really not going to inconvenience myself by having to message support to change my freaking bank. Especially when this company collects all the data and benefits off of it and us users don’t get a penny. The least they can do is be like drop or moneylion and allow users to connect our own banks and give a bonus for doing so. Since you’re going to snoop through our activities for “cashback”. I should not need this app’s permission to change my bank. Ridiculous.Show lessannieggc

Hello, Thank you for your comments. You can connect any bank account but if you then want to change that bank account to a different bank, we must re-verify your identity. This is for your security and to ensure that you own that bank account before connecting it to your savings. I first tried to change my funding source, when you do this you’re required to contact support and give them very intrusive sensitive information over email in order to change your funding source. So I decided I wanted to just close my account because of the hassle and intrusiveness of this company. I tried countless times with no avail. I’ve been in contact with the support at guac and they are NOT helpful, you can’t delete your account. They just tell you hit the delete button and it never ever works, you just get an error message and your account remains. I’ve been trying to delete my account for over a month now. Just trying to delete my account because the app won’t connect my bank or anything and it won’t let me delete my account. Been trying for a week and the only way to get in touch with support is through email and you cant even do that because it automatically goes to the general email app on my phone that I don’t have because I don’t use it. Putting me in DEBT
If I could give this App zero stars I would. It started out fine and I actually saved some money for a while. However, my account recently went into an overdraft, but Guac continued to pull money from my account and now every time my account gets overdrawn, Guac makes the situation even worse by pulling more money. I got up at 6:30AM for work this morning to a notification that my account had been overdrawn for $228!!!! AND I CANT EVEN PUT THE MONEY BACK IN MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE GUAC IS STILL PROCESSING IT!!! Guac is cool concept!
Like guac better than Acorns because at least they give me a percentage feature which I can change whenever I want. Just that is a game changer for me. They also have a market place in which credit cards can be utilized for extra rewards of need be. The compounding is a real thing if we’re constantly using our credit cards to buy stuff.Show lessBranew12
Can’t delete
My Guac would take money out of my account and not add it into my savings goals. I decided to delete the app. It said it could take up to 3 days to transfer money back to my bank account and permanently delete the account. It’s been about a week and a half and my account is still not deleted. Guac needs to be taken off of the App Store.

Great app
I love this. It automates saving my money for me. I was able to save $2200 in just a few months. I even made a few purchases in the app’s marketplace and received cash back. I was surprised at the vendors they had in the marketplace$A Glizzy$
Best way to save
I’ve been using The guac app for a year I’ve saved so much money I’ve been able to go on to amazing vacations!!!This app is so simple to use. I’ve been able to keep my normal spending habits and save at the same time. I booked my vacations through the Guac marketplace and earned cash back to start the process over again. I hate it.
I had about 71 and some change saved in my account, and once I had it transferred to my account, it took over 40 back. I’ve tried emailing them and haven’t received anything back. I can’t find my money at all and it’s very frustrating that they don’t even have a customer service phone number. Cool concept, clunky execution
I want to like this app but unfortunately it takes FOREVER for transfers to process, leaving me uncertain as to how much money I’ve got tied up in the app. I’ve paused my savings goals and am going to wait for all transactions to finish. Once they’re done I’m going to transfer my saved money back into my account and delete the app. Honestly, it’s not worth it. Go with acorn or something else for now.Show lessMattyB SD
