Cant delete account. For 2 months..
I’m currently in the process of deleting my account but I’m having issues because it still takes finds out of my account. It says the savings goals is paused so I don’t understand why it’s still taking funds out my account when it is paused and I’m the process of deleting my account. I don’t trust the app anymore, I’d suggest “acorn” since everyone is using that.Show lessitskgzkgzkgx

I downloaded the app today. Was disappointed when I realized there was no investment options. Then talked to my mom since I was excited to use the app and she asked if I made sure it wasn’t a scam. I read the 1 star reviews and decided to delete my profile. I deleted all my saving goals and then tried to delete my account and all I’m getting is an error message saying to contact admin. I sent an email a few minutes ago but if ur reading the reviews please don’t download the app i’m getting a really sus vibe. I’m just very nervous about being scammed and will be updating based on the outcome. If I don’t hear from them I will contact my bank and the PA consumer protection office and Apple.Show lessL.l.iv

Hello, We speak via support earlier this week & you successfully closed your Guac account. You successfully disconnected your bank & your account was closed. We will send an additional communication via support confirming your account closure.Really, really slow and glitchy.
Takes about a week for it to catch up to transfers and balances, even though it says “within 3 days”. Works like it’s supposed to, just slowly, which makes it difficult to keep track of how much is still going to leave your checking account. Also, the “statements” page makes it really difficult to track down the amounts and verify because you have to scroll through individual days, rather than just listing all the transfers and the date they occurred. Doesn’t make any sense. It’s more difficult to verify through the “activities” page, because transfers are typically done as a combination of percentages from multiple purchases, so adding up the right purchases to see if they match the transfers (which happen VERY slowly) is a nightmare. I got this app without reading the bad reviews and i regret it. I wanted to try and save money without all the work, so i found this app but little did i know they would end up stealing money from me and not letting me delete my account. I tried to delete the app after the deposits weren’t adding up but it won’t let me delete it after many tries. I now have to go to my bank and get a new account because they are thieves.Show less"TRM"
Easy saving
It took several days for it to get started but once it did it was smooth. It’s an easy way to save without the stress of moving money around. It’s kind of nice to forget about for a month or so and then go in and check your account out. It’s a pleasant surprise every time.shawnborg23
Great app, loving it so far!
This app is so great and easy to use. To the people that left negative feedback I’m thinking they didn’t read the percentage they were saving etc. I suggest just starting low such as 1-5 percent and then you can always change to go up if you want to save more. It’s such a great concept and love the little Guac character in the top corner of the app. There was a lot of great thought that went into making the app, great job! This app is literal garbage.
So not only does it take 4 days to clear from the time that the app begins removing funds it also takes 4 days to withdraw the money from the apps holding account. It appears to entirely disregard the minimum balance requirements, does not notify when transfers have been initiated and also will incur overdraft fees regardless of minimum balance as it disregards pending charges and current balance. I give this app no praise, it is inherently expensive and has cost more than it’s worth between overdrafts and wait times.Show lessthiskeepsmebroke

Great app! Love the way you can adjust to different percentages to fit what your savings needs are at the moment.

YOU CANT DELETE THE APP AND YOU CANT UNLINK YOUR BANK ACCONT DO NOT GET
On all the one star reviews Guac says to email them and they will help you through it, well they simply don’t. They send you unhelpful and frankly somewhat rude emails, that do nothing for you. The app if confusing and they can pause your ability to use the whole app whenever they want. Deleting this app seems genuinely impossible. You have to wait for all the money to be out but there’s no way to stop money coming in. GET ANY OTHER SAVINGS APP THIS IS THE WOSRT DESIGNED APP OF ALL TIME. There’s no way to unconnect your bank account from their app once you connect it.

Hello, We are to help and it sounds like there is still a lot of confusion. - You can pause any of your savings goals at any time by opening each goal & editing - First step to delete is to pause your goals so no future savings occur & once those savings in process are approved they are ready for immediate use. Once all savings are available you can transfer your balance and complete your delete process. GUAC makes the daunting task of saving easy. After an easy setup you I let the app do the work for me and I’m now half way to my finance goal... and I barely had to lift my chip. :)Jwill_55
