  • Untrue marketing strategy in the dev replies

    Like others have said, the app has been great and works normally. However, it boggles my mind on why anyone would want to use this app over simply using the USPS, UPS, or Fedex apps. I get the whole consolidation thing and it’s a good argument - until you come to the purchase page and realize you have to load your account with prepaid purchase points. Their response to this was that any company NOT doing this is selling your data to recuperate fees. This is simply not true. USPS is not allowed to do this by law. UPS and Fedex privacy and data handling policies also explicitly state that they do not sell customer data or share it with any entity that would profit from it in any way. This idea is great, but loading your account with a predetermined amount is clearly just a money gimmick as a way to squeeze some extra cash out of individuals and businesses and their lying coverup is even worse. If I was Fedex, UPS, or USPS I would sue the boots off this company for defamation. If you’re going to make those claims, back them up with sources. Go ahead, put them on your website. If you don’t have any sources (you don’t) then stop pretending you’re in the “know” with secret insider information when in reality this is just one way you profit off of a predatory business model.

    Sad because I was really hoping to see a small business disrupting the big 3 shipping companies but oh well. Capitalism doesn’t create good guys now does it?

    Thank you for sharing your feedback. There seems to be a few misunderstanding. Rollo users receive substantial discounts from retail shipping rates from UPS, USPS, etc. (up to 90% off retail rates). Furthermore, Rollo Ship offers an easy way to compare all available options across different carriers including the discounted rates, transit times, and so forth. For users who manage several e-commerce stores, all orders can be shipped from the Rollo Ship without needing to login to different websites. You are not required to pre-fund your account, you can make a payment only for the cost of the shipment you are purchasing. Kindly note each credit card transaction carries with it a cost (which is paid to Visa, Master Card, etc.) If you fund your account with a higher amount, you will save on processing fee as they have a fixed fee regardless of the amount. We hope this clarifies your concerns. Rollo Ship was developed to make shipping easier, cheaper, and faster for shippers. We are constantly evaluating it to ensure it is competitive in terms of pricing, discounts, ease of use, and features. We encourage you to evaluate the alternatives yourself including carrier's apps. If there is anything we can do better, we certainly welcome your suggestions.

  • Updated review.

    It was frustrating to start. Couldn’t get to to work on iPhone. Finally got a response. If you have an issue, it’s your font size. After finally being able to login, it was easy setup and worked perfectly.

    ilovenickjonas123, It's possible that your Display and Text size is set to Large sizes. Please go to Settings>Accessibility>Display & Text Size>Larger Text and adjust it to smaller size at the bottom. Once done, please relaunch the Rollo App and you should see the "Sign in" button
  • Skips and wastes label

    I have all the drivers updated on my Rollo printer, and I have the latest update of this App. Every time I print a label from this app, it skips a page, separating the postage from the packing slip and wasting one sheet every single time.

    Hi Erica! The skipping issue is an easy fix, we just need to recalibrate the printer. First, we need to reload at least 10 labels to the printer and press and hold the "r" button, wait for one beep and let go. Once done, the label will stop at the perforation, and you may either refeed it to the back of the printer or try your print. Also, kindly ensure the label size you have selected is correct. We'd be happy to connect with you so we can troubleshoot together, feel free to reach out to Rollo Support should you need further assistance.
  • Beautiful and efficient

    I switched from Dymo to Rollo only because my dymo stopped working and I needed wireless printing capabilities. I got WAY more than that with Rollo. The software is so clean and easy to use and the pricing for shipping is great too. The wireless printing works perfectly. Highly recommend!
  • Rollo disconnects from WiFi daily, app not working

    Not sure why, but my rollo disconnects from WiFi daily, and since the bug fixes 2 days ago my apps not working and that’s the only way to print labels according to rollo’s website

    Hello! It's best to reach out to Rollo Technical Support for assistance. Usually, obstructions or weak wi-fi would cause this but please do try rebooting your printer and router and try to move it at a closer distance. You can log in and print through the web as well - ship.rollo.com, but we'd love to check on the error that you're getting from the Rollo App. Please reach out to Rollo Support if the issue persists.

    It’s easy to use and a must if you use the printer. If you use it for Resales try using Rollo to ship. Especially if you sell on Mercari!

  • Almost perfect

    That app itself works perfectly with my Rollo printer. My only complaint is a dealbreaker though. You have to have a balance of funds saved in order to ship. Most of the competitors have you pay for shipping with each transaction. I don’t like to have $50 sitting in a Rollo account.

    DPyledriver, Thank you for your suggestion. The challenge is every credit card transaction requires a fixed fee that is collected by the credit card processing company. Usually 30 cents plus a percentage of the charge. By using a pre-paid model, you will have to pay less fees. If there is a company that is not charging you this fee, they are most likely selling your information in exchange for the cost of transaction fees. All companies have to pay this credit card transaction fee. Currently, Rollo charges $0.75 for amounts under $100, and $1 for amounts over $100. Funding can be as low as $15. The ability to fund the exact amount will be added in the near future but it will have a higher transaction fee compared to funding a larger amount as explained above. Users can always ask for any unused amount to be refunded as well.
  • Just a irritating loop

    7 times I tried logging in and 7 times I kept getting “please go to email to verify account,” which just brings me back to the app to sign in again. And oh cool says to verify account again. Lol Just an annoying ground hogs day scenario
