A scan app should actually scan a receipt. This one doesn’t.

Hey- Sorry you're having trouble using Neat but we need a little more information from you. Please specify what is happening or not happening. Is there any error message? Please try clearing your cache or rechecking to see if your permissions are actually allowing Neat to use the camera. We are waiting for your reply and are ready to assist- Thanks!The Point of an app is for it to be quick easy and convenient. When I’m doing receipts, I have to continually log back in. This is such a waste of time and a barrier… maybe some people like it but you should at least make it an option in settings to have no login or a month or a week but definitely five minutes before it logs you out is too soon!
I see you have other settings that can be adjusted, so please add this. I will change my review once that feature is available. Thank you.

We understand customers use Neat across various devices and in different ways. Some users store highly- sensitive data. Others may not. For faster sign-on, consider enabling Biometrics or setting up a password manager.I use Neat to track everything! The new updates to the mobile app make seeing my finances even easier

Hey there! Glad to hear you are enjoying the new updates. Thanks for choosing Neat!I am a long-time Neat user, starting with the original NeatReceipts portable scanner years ago. I used the Neat Desktop scanner for years and was reasonably happy with that as well. Currently I am using a high-end Fujitsu scanner with the Neat desktop software. And it works great!
I am currently on a 5-week road trip and would ordinarily bring home tons of receipts to scan once I returned. But now - with the improved Neat mobile app - I simply photograph the receipt and rapidly file it away. No receipts to scan once I get home. And it works great on both my iPhone 13 Pro and my iPad Pro.
Very, very pleased with the recent improvements to this app! Thanks!

Thanks for the 5-star review! We appreciate you being a long-time Neat customer. App crashed, could not log in. Got “cloud API unavailable” 6hrs on the phone with Neat, no resolution. $313 paid for a yearly subscription… and 90days later they have mo record of it. DONT RISK YOUR BUSINESS.

Our support team has reported that they were able to connect with you and have resolved the issues preventing you from accessing your account. If you have any other issues please let us know and we will be happy to assist you. To file receipts and be able to recover copies saves so much time. And lost receipts are a thing of the past if you take a few seconds to scan them. Have been using Neat desktop for years and transitioned over to the cloud and app and not looked back. As long as you put it in, you can recover the info as long as you have service.
