  • Forced to Leave?

    I hope that Neat relents on forcing all users to their new scheme. It may work perfectly well for some customers but isn’t going to work for me.

    I have been a customer for years and years! I have file systems set up that help me organize my data. Now we won’t be able to use the app to open files. What were they thinking.

    I’ll not be paying for an app that doesn’t work; I’m sure there is someone else that would love to inherit all of the customers neat is clearly taking for granted.

    I haven’t explored other apps because I have so much time and data wrapped up in the “neat bundle” that it wasn’t worth the aggravation. Now it appears that I won’t have a choice.

    Pay attention to your existing customers as you go off chasing new business; or all you will have all new users who have no loyalty to you.
  • Horrible backwards looking App

    If you are a long term paying customer to Neat, now is the time to dump them! I totally concur with all the other reviews. This is a horrible limited capability app. It is like being forced to ride a bicycle after you have been driving a car for years. If Neat forces this app on me after June 30 - like they have announced - I will dump them for certain!!!! Neat, you have been forewarned. If I were you, I’d fire the CTO or whoever is leading this new app. Not doing so means your current customers will definitely fire you!!! The choice is yours! No customers means no business. Think about that!
  • Disappointing

    You can no longer browse through folders. This update only allows you to search for scanned documents. This seems to be a premature beta app. This app needs to allow user to browse through all existing folders and files like the previous one.
  • New Neat mobile app

    Very disappointed with the new mobile app. Cannot view my filing cabinet or directory of files. Thankfully this is not changed on the web based app. Looks like my only option is to use my mobile Device to login to my web based account. This particular New app is to the most part useless to me. Had a good product. Should have left it alone.
  • Bare bones

    I used to be able to see my files through the mobile app as a paying customer but this newer version doesn’t have that.
    Also, I don’t see the multiple pages option that I loved in the prior one. Can’t tell if the capture worked until I go online on the app.

    You can search for a receipt but can’t sort and if you select the “More” (where I was looking for sort options not there) you can’t go back to the search results and have to start again. Terrible iPhone UI, unless there’s something I’m missing here.

    Have used Neat since 2012 but now will be looking for an alternative as it’s not worth the fee I pay for what I use it for.
  • New App: Same Old Tactic

    Welcome to The Neat Companies latest push for users into a higher priced service, “Transactions”.

    Gone is the older Neat Mobile app that offered me direct access to my folder hierarchy of previous scans.

    I’m grandfathered in to the older unlimited scan package. Neat is perhaps done with customers like me (a monthly paying user) and I am weighing other service options from different companies.

    Neat, you’ve done this before with your desktop app. Reconsider or I’m done.
