Keeps Getting Worse
App is less intuitive, less discoverable, and buggy to the point that I literally cannot scan & save a document anymore.
The app has literally two jobs - scan & file quickly (completely broken) and retrieve & share (for some reason your file cabinet is a sub menu item buried in More… & when you want to share it generates a link instead of a PDF which is a terrible user experience)
I pay too much for the subscription a year for just the very basics not to work. Done with Neat. There are plenty of much cheaper, less buggy alternatives.

Freezes
After upgrade app constantly freezes after choosing my cabinet then my folder. I have to restart the numerous times before I can save. The previos version of the app was better. Less features but I had no issues saving my receiptsgarywbarber
Waste of money
I bought the expensive scanner and software then when they took it off line I wasn’t able to even access the files stored on my computer with the desktop software unless I pay their new monthly service so now all my data is held hostage by them and I can even chat with them cause their chat support says they will only respond to paying customers. At least let me download my data or let me keep using the desktop software that you guys are taking off line why lock out the data that’s on my computer and forcing me to pay ??Heeltoe

No you can use your smart phone a lot more to enter information and to scan images into Neat.

Too many clicks to save anything
This used to be a simple tool to use. Now it’s overly complex, too many places to click to save anything, or to move seamlessly to the next item on a list. This tool is getting too overburdened with bells and whistles and not sticking to simplicity which was the initial concept when it was Neat. If I have a list of un-filed documents and am updating/editing/filing them, wouldn’t it be obvious that if I save one, it should move to the next in the list? Why do I have to hit “OK” after something is saved?? Just move on!
C’mon guys, think this through in development. Simple, or completely useless bells and whistles?TinytallNV

Neat mobile app is horrible!!
I have been trying and trying and trying to figure out how I can use my iPhone Neat app. I use Sam’s club to be able to send my receipt to my Neat mobile. NOW, It does not work!! You have change and upped up the cost for the neat system. The new version and the new price are both terrible. I am really really trying to stay with you. Fix it please.9999sam
Can't share files on apps or save on galery
Good but can be better, In the smartphone app all features is important but one of the most important features is the ability to share files on whatsapp and other apps like telegram etc or simply save on my galery but this option on Neat is no possible only is possible share via Email and this is very limitant and i need indeed send to my email and then download for share.Global Technologies
