  • Sync up watch

    I love the white is a great idea my daughter so sad that she can contact me anywhere at school while she is out as well as I only thing I do not like it every other week I’m having issues with the app showing that my daughter phone is off-line when it isn’t I can still call and text her and she can still call and text me but on the app it is showing off-line Which is a huge concern because I’m not able to track where she is they really need to fix that problem I’ve only had this phone less than a month and this is the second time within a week that the app has shown off line

  • LOOVVEEEEE for my 4yo

    Just got this watch for my daughter because she started summer camp this year and going on trips & I was not okay lol so since chaperoning was out of the ? This watch was the next best thing. It’s free if you have T-Mobile and you just pay the $10 bill ea month. I love that I can put it on school mode so she’s not playing games on it and can call her dad and I only during that time. I use school mode during her bed time as well so she’s not doing too much with it at night. Each trip she goes on I created virtual boundaries so I know when they get there and when they leave, for camp, soccer practice & family etc! My daughter loves that she can send voice notes since she can’t text not knowing how to read just yet & we send her voice memos so she knows what we’re saying when we text her! Y’all GET THE WATC!! It’s perfect for KIDS!! I’d say if they can work a phone or tablet this is perfect for them

  • Phone app won’t load

    For a second day now the app on my phone won’t load. I have closed and reopened and also restarted my iPhone and the app is unable to connect. The watch still works. My kid is able to call me, but I’m unable to see her location or any watch info. I don’t want to reinstall the app and lose all the settings! We’ve only been using the watch for two weeks and already running into this issue. Very disappointed.

    I cannot figure out how to turn off the weird notification that my daughter’s watch has been off for four hours without turning off other notifications, which I want. Why would I want to know at 1AM every night that her watch has been off for four hours? I get the notification when she turns it off at 9PM.
    UPDATE: I appreciate the response, but I do not want to turn Watch Status notifications off. I want them to work as they are supposed to. It says I should be notified “when the watch is turned on/off, and when it’s offline for 24 hours or more.” What actually happens is I get notified when the watch has been off for FOUR hours, which is usually around 1AM. The notification I receive even says the “watch is offline and was last seen four hours ago.” So it appears someone mistakenly programmed it to be 4 hours instead of the 24 hours it’s supposed to be.

  • Only a couple of things that they could improve

    So far we’re loving this watch. There are two things that I would change: 1) if the watch sound is on, it audibly alerts every 500 steps. That is way too frequent. They should give you the option of turning off this alert without turning off the watch sounds overall and/or allow you to adjust the alerts to what you want them to be. 2) it would be preferable to be able to choose the sound for the alarm. The watch only uses a standard alarm noise. It would be nice to be able to use any of the ringtones instead. Other than those two things, so far the watch has been fantastic and my kid loves it.

  • Update

    Love the new update on how airplane mode is not on the watch and on the parental app instead. I was wondering if that would change at all, I’m glad it did. I hope there is a feature on soon to listen into when a parent wants to on the watch to see if we are concerned if something is happening at school.

  • Both of my kids

    It makes me feel relieved to see where my children are going. Both went out of state and I was able to get ahold of them. It worked well in California, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Washington DC, and New York! The only thing I didn’t like how the battery runs out fast. Other than that it’s a great thing to have to know where your kids are.

  • Great watch for kids

    Love the watch and the app. Easy to use. Only problem is the school mode scheduler. We set the time and noticed it was turning in and off three hours after we have it set for. The watch is on east coast time but the scheduler works in west coast time so we had to adjust the hours by three hours.
  • Child’s Privacy?

    “you consented to everything in the first paragraph, and the collection of your child’s photo, video, audio and text messages and child device interactions. We also collect your child’s name and age (optional) directly from you when you set up the watch.” Why does T-Mobile need to collect our children’s photos, videos, audio, and texts?! Is that not disturbing to anyone else? That’s the farthest thing from protecting our children’s privacy. Beyond that uneasiness, the battery dies within a few hours. The functions like timer, alarms and camera freeze for hours at a time. Like others have said, it would be nice to set school mode just when they’re actually at school. And the support is horrible. No one has a clue about this product. Disappointing from such a large company. Overall so far, not happy about choosing T-Mobiles new kids watch.

    Update - had the SyncUP kids watch since Christmas (4 months) it completely stopped working so I took it in to be checked out. $20 for a replacement under manufacture warranty. …4 months. Completely dead. And I have to pay $20?

The SyncUP KIDS Parental Notice (which parents must consent to in the SyncUP KIDS app before data is collected from the watch) explains that we collect photo, video, audio, and text messages only to transmit them to the recipient and to store them on the watch and that we don’t store copies of the messages anywhere else.     So I got this watch seeing a lot of good reviews,
    Honestly to be realistic, the watch is super
    Fragile doesn’t have any accessories available nor screen protectors, the screen broke the first week my son had it, and it didn’t get hit hard I passed him a basketball and it hit the watch and cracked, the most
    Irritating part is the app, the app never sends me real time notifications my son would
    Leave home or be at home and an hr later I get the notification he’s home, the tracking part, never on point it doesn’t even show close to where he is at and takes forever to refresh, turning off school mode
    Can’t even get me started on that, 90% if the time the app can’t communicate with the watch, we bought it for his safety and making sure he’s okay ans where he’s at but what’s the point of that if the app doesn’t function till hrs later. The only thing I can’t
    Complain is texting and calling is good and instant but when tracking and app function it’s a 1 star review
