Okay the vacuum is mediocre, and I’m having tons of issues with it. The software is poorly designed and hard to navigate. But the final straw and reason I’m writing this review is that I paid $800 for this vacuum and they gated the app that a FORCED AD for Black Friday. It has a countdown timer that forces you to sit through the ad before you can use the machine. What a disgusting practice and absolute joke. I encourage every owner to drop a one-star review over this explorative garbage.
I’m hoping by deleting and reinstalling the app things will improve. Although app seems to be in communication with the robot, it is no longer showing what area of the house it is cleaning in, as it used to. Also, I have yet to have a complete map form. when I was able to track the robot, it looked like it was a good depiction of my house, but as soon as robot finished cleaning and returned to the dock, the map would turn into just one big rectangle. Love the idea of being able to set up virtual barriers and label rooms, but the app will not perform this for me. A lot of fixing needed!
When my robot drops offline, it does become a challenge to get it back to life. The screen is basic and could be a little more user friendly. Love the vacuum, not so much the app
As so many others have said, please include the option to manually designate rooms on the map. I have an open floor plan, and the robot is calling my entire first floor one room. Would like to be able to designate different areas as “kitchen”, “living room”, etc.
I want to like this vacuum cleaner. When it works, the vacuum does as good of a job as other robots. The app won’t accept correct passwords and won’t pair. It renders the entire vacuum useless. If the app is improved, I’ll consider updating, but I can’t give a better rating if I can’t use the product.
I am extremely mad I can’t define the rooms of my apartment. Robot thinks the entire floor is all one room. I don’t have a small apartment. This is stupid and needs fixed! Displeased such an expensive product has such a poorly made app!
The app is easy to use and the notifications when the vac is stuck or clogged are great. It makes a great map of the house, but what this program desperately needs is an option to create your own rooms on the map. When the robot mapped my house it gave me two zones, one was the last 5 feet of the hallway and the other was literally the entire rest of the house. I can rename them but can’t define spaces on my own. Seems like it should be an easy add. If you added this I’d be at 5 stars!!
I had no trouble downloading or setting up the app. The Yeedi Vac 2 Pro, which vacuums and mops, worked fine during mapping. The app DOES allow rooms to be divided and labeled, although it did take some exploring to find some functions. I had some sort of glitch (it couldn't "find" the kitchen, then couldn't dock to recharge) but support replied to my email VERY quickly with a suggestion that did the job. I've used it twice for vacuuming and for mopping (I've only had it about a week) and I'm really impressed!
The latest update is just a blatant attempt at scoring a quick buck with a forced 3second advert screen bizarrely for the product I already own. Please update and remove this forced advert.
This is positioned as a premium product that makes life easier: so get out of the way of the user with a forced advert experience which is completely redundant. Maybe invest in making the e-commerce experience in the app better, or focus on enhancing the primary purpose of the app: remote management of a vacuum.
This app is difficult to use, the map is terrible that the machine produces. You can’t direct it to a specific room because you can’t separate rooms easily. It still insists my whole house is only two rooms, and it took five tries to get a map going that is still incomplete. It’s not ready for sale, it needs modernization for east use.
