  • Perfect for a struggling bar exam studier

I’ve been struggling over the last 2 years of law school pushing through at-home work and zoom lectures, only to transfer to the same environment for bar prep. I’ve chalked it up to self prescribed adult ADHD. As bar prep is in full swing, my time struggles only feel emphasized. The last few weeks have required a LOT out of me, pushing through hours of studying with seemingly little to show. This app has changed that all at once. Not only can i track exactly what I’m studying, how long I’m studying it, but it helps me visualize the day and tasks. The time tracker in combination with the task category and statistics are exactly what I need. I honestly can’t understand why something as genius as this isn’t provided with the bar prep I pay for. Huge game changer for me and I fully expect to be utilizing it in a work setting moving forward.

  • Advanced time tracking app

This is my absolute favorite pomodoro app. Not only does it have a customizable work and break timer, it also tracks the activities on which you spent your time during the day. My favorite feature is the statistics which let me compare how many hours I worked/studied for this day/week/month compared to the previous one. A function I would like to be added to the app is a to-do list that allows tasks to be dragged into your day to allow for planning in the app.

  • Great tool! Well done

I downloaded this app a couple of weeks ago and after trying many similar tools I can honestly say this one is the best one so far. I love that it implements some simple mindfulness techniques like encouraging you to take a deep breath before each focus block, and it allows you to take some notes on how you felt after each block. Also, I like that it has a subtle sound to remind you when each block is over. Great job!

  • Full featured Pomodoro app

I love the way Session syncs between multiple devices, allows me to keep focused even while on the move.

Far more features than I use, but there should be something for everyone.

I would just like to see an on-screen display option that was a bit smaller than the current one as I like to have it "in my face" rather than in the toolbar. Something more like the Apple Music player size when minimised.

  • Definitely the most well-thought out Pomodoro App!

I am another one of those people that has app-related issues, I am constantly downloading and trying new apps that I don't need. I have tried pretty much every Pomodoro timer on the app store and found several good enough to purchase. This one beats them all in it's feature set and most importantly it's interface, it is pretty much perfect. It really is more of a day planner pomodoro app with it's tight calendar integration, and it is the "stickiest" timer I've ever used, meaning I actually find myself using it after a couple of weeks, it is just that pleasant to use. I will say that I have not yet spent the money to take it pro, as I feel like $40 a year really a bit too much for any timer; that is more than I pay for apps like Craft or TickTick, apps that do a lot more and cost a lot less. If it were $20 a year, I would have signed up instantly. The free version is perfectly usable, however, and if I am still using it 6 months from now I might end up paying for the pro version.

  • Best Pomodoro App Ever!

I have tried many pomodoro apps for phone/laptop, even bots on discord. This is my personal favorite for many reasons, and my friends have also agreed and switched to this app. I also like that you are able to use it for free without too many limitations. I believe the paid features are worth it if you are very committed to the pomodoro life, although personally i wouldn't want to pay $5 a month just to get some extra features. It it was cheaper I would consider upgrading.

The only thing I would like added as a feature is to be able to add friends on the platform and share stats. This feature made other pomodoro apps fun and helps with accountability. Hoping the creators see this review and consider adding this soon!

  • Great little app - clean and does more than you expect

Fantastic little app if, like me, you're neurodiverse or just need something to help you focus. Love the way it ties into the calendar with colour coded blocks and Pomodoro sessions sync across my Mac, iPad and iPhone. I have it running on my iPhone and the bigger window with the calendar blocks showing on my second monitor. Really helps keep me motivated through the day.

  • Hands down best Pomodoro App

I’ve tried dozens of Pomodoro apps, and this is by far the best designed, most helpful, and most robust I’ve ever used. On days where I say to myself “wow, I got a lot done today and spent my time wisely,” it’s almost always because I’ve used Session.

It’s astounding and inspiring t me that here’s just a one man team behind this app. I want to thank him for a focused 25 minutes, followed by a 5 minute break.

  • Its has been a huge help!!

I downloaded four different Pomodoro apps on my Mac and I found this one to have the most features I was looking for. The ability to document the session, customize the session times, and the ability to run simutaniously on the devices. When I take a break and walk away from my Mac, an iPad or iPhone that I would take with me also shows me the session and I know when to get back to the Mac.
Overall, this app has really helped me keep my focus on my work. Thanks!!!

  • Had doubts at first but was blown away

To be honest I've only used it for a split 20 minutes and I already LOVE IT.

I love love love love it.

I didnt know it was actually going to be this good.

It's funny because I was thinking in my head "dang this is such a good app, I wonder how they made this."

    What I like:

I like how organized it is. It has everything in one; Pomodoro, tracking, writing notes, pausing, adding nature sounds (which I love) , the ability to self assess , the overall structure

    Over all,

    I really enjoyed it
