  • App is unpredictable

    Got my kids Xplora watches and have been using them and the app for a month or so. Cell service in the area where we live is spotty, and I can’t in good conscience blame Xplora for that but what needs focused attention is the app’s clunky interface and unpredictable features. Most frustrating is how school mode doesn’t turn off at the designated times, and I have to turn it off manually to communicate with my child despite the mode’s indicated expiration. The app also randomly opens at times with no information displayed and restarting it doesn’t help populate your registered devices. You have to log out and log back in to the app for features populate again, which is a time waster. Otherwise, it’s just a waiting game before the app finally responds and you can interface with it again. Also, messages fail to send even when sufficient cell signal exists on both ends. I realize we’re not dealing with expensive smart watches here but assume promised basic functionality would be fulfilled and, unfortunately, it’s not. Lastly, the step counter is ridiculously inaccurate and makes my kids think they’re walking 20k plus steps a day, which I’m sure is no coincidence since steps go toward accumulating “coins,” which they can redeem for, “products.” Please focus less on marketing gimmicks directed at children and more on ensuring parents can communicate with them when this core function is needed most.
  • Disappointed to say the least!

    Just purchased this X6Play watch and the setup has been a huge headache. No customer support number to call. I am sure that is by design since it would be ringing all given day. I will be returning this watch ASAP! I wouldn’t trust this watch to help protect my child if they cannot even figure out a simple app.
  • Excellent purchase

    Watch is very easy to use. My ten year old granddaughter loves it. It has all the right options and I like that right now I can see what she is doing. I’m not tech savvy but it was easy if you are patient to get it all set up. Definitely the right price.

  • App Doesn’t Work All the Time

    Always have trouble with the App connecting to the watch. I bought it because my son likes to play in the neighborhood with his friends and I wanted to be able to have a way of connecting with him. The App works sometimes. Even when my son is sitting right next to me it won’t connect. It’s frustrating because I’m paying for the service on his watch and I can’t even stay connected all the time. The app is updated, both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are on and it still doesn’t work. This happens more often than not. Very frustrating! However when the app is working it’s a great way to stay connected.
  • It is ok

    It is good device. But alway shows incorrect location. You will need to report incorrect location few times a day. For tracking it works not properly.
    But it is consistent for calls and txt with your child
  • Unreliable

    I pay more for a cell plan solely to be able to use watches that can track and I can call my children on as we travel around Europe frequently. App often doesn’t connect with watches, and requires deleting and reinstalling the app to even get a location of my children. And calling feature, both from them to me and me to them, has rarely worked. App design is great (especially if it worked) but most people who use this product do so requiring reliable service as a way to track and call children and this, unfortunately isn’t it. Recommend finding other options and avoid wasting money.
  • Totally useless

    This app USE to be amazing. No issues whatsoever… until the last update, about a week ago. It doesn't load anything once the app opens. Hope it’s fixed soon. Otherwise, what’s the point of having this smartwatch? Lol.
  • Bad App

    The app crashed. Couldn’t see the watches or messages. Deleted the app, tried to reload and now it wants a payment method connected even though it is tied to my cellular plan. I wish I would have bought Garmin.
  • No Data in App

    Set it up yesterday and everything was working fine but today when I open the app there is no data displaying. Not useful if I can see where my kid is.
  • Phone won’t be activated for 48-60 hrs

    I’m feeling ripped off. I need this for my child to be away from me and i have to wait 2-3 days for it to be activated?
