Awesome!
I am not usually one to write reviews, but hear me out here. My credit score went up 60 points in just a few months using this tool. Yes, I called it a tool because using it can HELP FIX your credit score inch by inch. 60 points doesn’t sound like much, but with credit scores, LITERALLY EVERY point counts and can cost or save you money in interest. I strongly recommend downloading and using this tool. It also found a questionable hit on my Equifax and they got it removed within a week! Using this app along side smart budgeting will just amaze you, I promise.
It’s not a “magic wand” because you have to make some budget changes for this app to really really help you like it did me. Highly recommend! Once you reduce your debt ratio even a little bit you’ll see your score rise. Pay off that credit card, car note, or even a store credit card. I’m telling you, it’s worth it! This app gives you a credit line and reports every single payment! Set up auto pay, adjust your spending, watch your score increase!

Kikoff + help
ok look.. i’m not the best with my finances, especially when i was younger. i was in debt for years and gave up so my credit went to crap.. i think the lowest i remember it was like 470. building my credit back up took me a little over 2 years with the help of kikoff, using the cheap monthly starter plan that was like 2$ a month and then using the monthly loan 10$/month that they pay back after a year. i already completed a year got the money back so i started another plan for a year.
i used kikoff with the help of another service(a debit card that reports as a line of credit) + add with time for some of my debts to fall off and paying off the final few hundred sum of debt to raise my credit from under 500 to just over 700 on all 3 credit bureaus.
if you read all that you need to start working on your credit already bro. having on-time payments every month shows a list of green lights. it takes a little bit of effort, over a long amount of time. do your future-self a favor and start building your credit cause credit is how you leverage your existence in this world

No ACCESS GO OLD EMAIL
Well I tried to sign up for kickoff. Signed up ages ago but my email account originally signed up with was hijacked long ago along with all passwords to all accounts I owned, along with bank and credit card accounts, personally identifiable information such as drivers license and social security numbers. Thanks to an mentally abusive past relationship. Here I have literally done everything possible to clean up someone else’s mess under my credit, as my life has crashed down all around me even causing me to lose my home and all in it. Coming to this app to start over gave me a glimmer of hope just to have that hoped ripped away once again. There is no way to access my old email. Kickoff states I have an account but gives me no way to access or even update previous email address to new address. What’s up with that. Don’t even know my account number as I created account but never used it. This blows.

Hello! We are sorry to hear this but would love to help you access your previous account. Please email our customer support team at support@kikoff.com for further assistance.
WILL NOT HELP YOU OUT IF YOUR CARD IS STOLEN. NOT FDIC.
I had Kikoff for over a year. Honestly enjoyed the credit building programs up until 6 months ago. Someone stole my card started using it for purchases. I reported it stolen, locked my card, and ordered a new one immediately called Kikoff to get more details (IP, name, location, etc) the customer service agent told me I would see it on my statement and I would need to contact corporate to get the details per transaction. I was seeking physical proof to submit a police report and prosecute the suspected thief. Due to kickoffs failure to provide me this information this person got away with theft and I have to just let it go. To this day I still get notifications from Kikoff saying my card was tried but failed due to it being reported stolen and a new one issued. Still get notifications and every time I contact Kikoff they say they have no further information. Email support was the worst and was just apologetic (basic human sympathy) but no profesional action was taken and no further information could be disclosed about these attempted charges. They are NOT FDIC insured. They do NOT have your back. They will NOT help out when needing actual proof to fabricate to law enforcement for a police report or pressing charges. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

It’s okay
The app works. It does get your credit score up, however, it will only increase significantly the first month or two. Which I believe my score did go up about 70 points when first beginning. Now every month it only increases by 2 points, which can be a slow journey which is why I deducted the first star. Kikoff lost their second star because of the non-working biometrics. It scans my face numerous times, but yet… it’ll fully log me out occasionally and force me to type my email and password which is very annoying when I constantly remind the app to remember my face and automatically log in. It makes it annoying to have to check the app and keep up with payments because of the faulty system they have. Update this, or I won’t be back after the 12th month. Thank you :)

Wow.
Talk about the app I DO NOT recommend to anyone. SAVE YOUR CREDIT WHILE YOU STILL CAN, BUT DO NOT USE KICKOFF. I invested in the kickoff app in February of this year in an attempt to help build up my credit. Heaven forbid anything in life happens to someone where it causes you to miss a payment. Now, because of trying out Kickoff, not only do I have an even WORSE credit score than when I started, but kickoff reported to the credit bureaus that claiming I took out a loan of $250, and now I’m expected to pay it back. There is only one problem, I NEVER EVEN TOOK OUT A LOAN. I never ever received any kind of credit line or money through a loan from Kickoff. When I contacted their customer service with my concerns, they were absolutely no help. They wouldn’t give me any of the money that I did pay toward my “loan”, back nor would they help me file a dispute claim with the credit bureaus or figure out a solution so my credit didn’t get even worse. Their customer service is rude and not even the least bit helpful. Again I REPEAT, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR KICKOFF. You will regret the decision if you do.

Frustrated
I’ve had this app for one month. My credit score has fell 86 points because of it. I can’t find anything on the app saying why this has happened and of course no customer support that you can actually speak with. So I’m kinda confused and frustrated.
It’s now been about 6 months. The day my account opened my score went from 747 to 660. After paying $5 a month for the past 6 months it hasn’t changed. The app says my credit score is 660 but when I tried to get a small loan for a dental procedure my credit score is in fact 618. If I cancel and close this account my credit will take even more of a dive. So it’s a very dirty practice this company is playing. You pay for them to do nothing and not help you establish anything and if you cancel it it will hurt you even more. So it must be nice to receive money for nothing Kikoff. Shame on you. I’m writing to Apple to complain about this issue. It’s even shows on the graph in the app when I started using the app and when my score dipped on the same week.

Don’t believe the haters (they don’t understand what Kikoff does)
Without Kikoff I would still be takin the bus to work (instead I got I approved for a new whip skrrrt skrt). This app is GENIUS. Its for literally one thing - Building credit. All the haters on here clearly don’t understand what Kikoff does (hmmm not understanding what they buy is probably why they have bad credit in the first place…?). Some of these comments like “where my money at” and “I didn’t know it takes time to work”… blah blah blah pleeeease!!! If you want money, don’t get Kikoff. If you wanna get your credit right so you can get money later and have healthy credit, get Kikoff. Not trying to rip on people just sayin… dang. Not that complicated. Kikoff gave my score a boost an then helps me build more credit by helping the factors that make up my score. This app is for people who WANT to work towards better credit FOR REAL and want a legit hack that gets them results faster. My score went from a 605 to a 690 in 2 months with literally NO WORK. I didn’t even pay off any debts… this app do it.

Do Not Accept The Kikoff Debit Card
I started building credit with Kikoff. Then I was offered a debit card with a $200 bonus. Next thing I know, my account was hacked and all of money was stolen from only this card. I have been calling and emailing them in hopes of getting my money recovered. They sent me a replacement card with the exact numbers as the compromised one. Now, I’m waiting on another card which I should have received according to them. They can’t tell me where the card was sent.
The person who hacked my account has her email address attached to my account. Again, after numerous emails kikoff’s higher support still has not removed it and replaced it with mine. She has full access to my app and what money I have and will be receiving. She can change the PIN number and activate my new card, and get the new card number from the app.
I don’t even know how to prosecute this person because she lives in Arkansas and I live in Georgia. I am ready to take Kikoff to court as well for not protecting my information. I have since looked into the company at the BBB site and there are way too many stories similar to mine.
