Locked out

Since the last update I can’t use my app. It keeps asking for a Verification Code. Nobody knows anything about a Verification Code. So not being able to use the app(That I Loved Before the Update) it’s a piece of CRAPP.

Kicked out

It was lovely when it worked. The update made my app do a spinning signal like a waiting thing and now it wants a Verification Code. Nobody has one. Everybody I’ve talked to said there is no code. So now I’m having to manually sign in. Pitiful. Better rating if you can get mine working again

Useless: Doesn’t checkin or checkout

I downloaded the app based on the recommendation of the kiosk at a loved one’s memory care facility. After confirming my name, facility, and visit type the app does nothing.

Mixed review

I love that I can sign in relatively quickly when coming to see my family in assisted living. However, I dislike that I can’t edit my profile to remove a facility I no longer visit, and I also dislike that there is a red notification dot on the application tile on my iPhone that won’t go away. The “support” link on App Store doesn’t actually take me to a place where I can ask for help with these issues. Despite all that … if you’re visiting family in a facility that uses this system, yes you should download this app.

Pointless

It doesn’t really save any time, you’re just tapping on your own device instead of theirs. I see no reason for this app to exist.

Was partially functional now not functional at all

I signed up for this app when my parents moved into assisted-living a year and a half ago. They had the Accu shield kiosk to manually check in visitors at both entrances. The app was supposed to allow check in and check out without manual entry. The app presented a QR code for the kiosk to read. The kiosks were never able to recognize the QR code for entry. I provided this feedback many times, and the facility management could not get shield to do anything about it.

I was able to check out using the app. Now the app does nothing. There is no check in or check out function. No QR code. All I can do is see my visit history and edit the profile. Otherwise there is no actual functionality.

Besides writing this review, there are no feedback or contact options in the app or the Accu shield website. I reinstalled the app several times now I’m removing it again.

Worthless

Used to use it to at least sign out. Now there’s no option to do anything.

Can’t set up

Every time I try to set it up, I put my phone number in. I wait for the verification code and it never comes to my phone. How do I set it up if I never get a verification code?

App is awful

This mobile app freezes all the time. Often unable to check into the Memory Care facility where my family member lives. Verification codes are not sent when trying to log in

Not Working

Does not work at The Hampton’s Assisted Living in Tyler, TX.

Unfortunately the location you mentioned does not use the Accushield scanner, so the mobile app is unable to be used at the Hampton's Assisted Living in Tyler, TX to sign in or out. The app can be used to track your sign-in and sign-out history and display the documentation that the community potentially requires. In order to use the mobile app for sign-in purposes, the community will need to order a scanner.
