  • Very disappointed very bad experience

    They made us migrate to this new app but the way it displays data is absolutely ridiculous and the trend graph is the worst it was way better with the old app and most importantly i used to compare data from different days and now it’s gone you can’t do anything You guys ruined a good app with this migration to the new app

    Hi paljor88, Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have made changes to the trend chart display rules of the new APP. On each trend graph, the APP will automatically show the Maximum and minimum readings of the chosen period. If you want to view the exact reading of the other data point, you can just tap it, and a small box showing the reading will appear above it. Meanwhile, the new APP does not support comparing the data now. We will improve it in the future. Please kindly contact us via email (support@renpho.com) if you have further questions.   • Hate the Update

    UPDATE:
    I received a developer response and they did not answer my question to my review. Do I delete the original app for the new updated Health app? As of now, I use my original app, step on the scale and go down to the bottom, where it says Health app, click on it, and then have to click on the scale on the new app to get the same results of my original one. I’m so afraid if I do, my years of history will disappear. It seems like I have to keep the original one and then click on the updated one at the bottom of it to get into it. My concerns weren’t addressed, just how great the new app is. Please let me know if I delete the original app will the new app keep all my years of history? It also said in my email I can contact the developer directly so I click on to contact the developer and I don’t see where to do that just sales of certain items, so that’s why I’m here again adding to my review. Please answer if I delete my old app will my years of information remain? Thank you.

    Dear Cantwait2retire, Sorry for the inconvenience caused. When the scale is successfully connected to the phone, the status will show as 'Connected'. Once the scale goes to sleep mode, the connection will automatically disconnect and display as 'Disconnected'. You only need to step on the scale to wake it up, and it will automatically reconnect. By the way, We suggest you use the Renpho Health APP which is our new APP and it will also be our super APP. The Renpho Health App works with our Renpho Smart Scales, Smart Tape, and fitness products. You can use your Renpho app account login details to log in to the Renpho Health app without registration again. Please kindly contact us via email (support@renpho.com) if you have further questions.   • New App not so great

    Not happy being made to switch to new app and it is not even accurate. The measurement my scale gives me is not the same as what it writes to Apple, health and MyFitnessPal. Example today scale say 193.3 lbs yet it writes to the Apple health app and MyFitnessPal 193.4 lbs
    Yes I understand .01 not a big difference but to someone with OCD it is.
    Plus the old app didn’t do that.

  • Not user friendly

    App is confusing and not user friendly. A few changes would make a huge difference. You should be able to add and edit old entries. The layout and navigation is horrible.

    Hi misseast, I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, please accept our deepest apologies. The historical data can not be edited. But if you want to input weight data manually, please follow the steps below: 1. Open the APP, it should default to the "Home" page of the APP. 2. Tap "Body Fat Scale" listed under "My device", this will take you to the measurement page of the body fat scale. 3. Tap "..." in the upper right corner. 4. Tap "Manual input". 5. The APP defaults to displaying the current date and time. If you want to input a measurement of another date/time, please change the date/time manually. 6. Scroll the scale under "Weight" to the weight you want to input. 7. Tap the "+" icon to the right of "Body Fat" if you want to input the body fat% as well. Scroll the scale under "Body Fat" to the body fat% you want to input. 8. Tap "Recording". Regarding your suggestion, we will forward it to our technical department for improvement.   • Hate the Update

    I finally gave in and updated to the updated app. There is a huge problem. The new Health app says disconnected at the very top. I connected and went back in. It was connected. Go back in again it’s disconnected. I don’t want to keep weighing myself. Also both of the apps are still active and coming up. The original one and then I click on HEALTH in it on the original app to go to the new one. It’s a nightmare and it keeps wanting me to sign in, confirm, etc. which I do over and over again and I don’t get my front page unless I click on the scale again and that’s where it says it’s disconnected. This is getting to be too much work for what used to be an absolutely great app that you could’ve just updated and not make this completely new one. Am I supposed to delete the original one and start completely over because it just says update and it’s not even doing that. Please reply and tell me what’s going on or I delete it and purchase a different scale from a different company.

  • No export capability

    What has happened in the last two weeks? Now all of the sudden, you can’t export data except for the current day? What happened in the update. Please fix this

    Update: I restarted my phone and it worked. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Thanks to the app team for reaching out to me!

  • Difficult to operate app

    I like the scale but I can’t figure the app out. I can’t seem to switch between users to see different profiles for myself and fiancé. Definitely a lot of good information but hard to navigate.

Navigate to "My Device" to access the body fat scale measurements page. 3. Tap on your name at the top of the screen. This will lead you to a page where you can select a different user.   • Doesn’t import data from scale

    App is 100% useless as the data from the scale no longer imports into the app. Didn’t have this issue with the old version of the app. I’ll likely be getting a new scale from a different brand now.

    Dear customer, Thank you for your message. I understand that your data do not sync to your APP account. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Rest assured, our products come with a limited manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery and lifetime technical support. Please note that the Bluetooth connection settings are not located in the Bluetooth settings of your phone, but rather through the Renpho Health APP to set up the Bluetooth connection. In order to better help solve the problem, may I have your App account email to send to our technical team for investigation? Since this is a software problem, please allow us to access your account for some relevant information. Could you please try the below steps? 1. Reset the scale: 2. Restart your phone 3. Delete the device from your app account and re-add the scale to your app account again If none of the above steps resolves the Bluetooth connectivity issues, please try the "Bluetooth anomaly detection" function: 1. Open the app and turn on the Bluetooth 2. Tap "Me". 3. Tap “Bluetooth anomaly detection”, then tap "body fat scale" and follow up the instructions. 4. Provide the ERR code to us.   • Love the Data-Just Can’t See It

    Developers-please incorporate Dynamic Type! The font in the app is way too small for me to read, even when wearing readers. Help a 50 year-old out!

Slide to change the font size But the above settings will change all the displays in the phone, so please set when you indeed need.
