  • All good here

Everything is great except I wish the friends section was easier to get to and navigate. Also when viewing a friends history page under trends the bottom is cut off and I can’t scroll down to see anything below average and change.
  • New version

I still have the old version and it seems to work fine. Added the new version, a little different, but like the old version better. Was hoping fir 'dark mode' with the new version...
  • Poor product

This is hands down the worst app I’ve ever used. I constantly have to stop and restart the app to maintain Bluetooth connectivity. Sometimes even that doesn’t work and I have to delete and reinstall the app. I have no issues with any other Bluetooth app or connection. I have reported this problem multiple times with no response or support.

  • Guest Mode Question

I love this app and use it daily. I have been in guest mode since I bought my scale in January 2023 if I create an account will I loose all of my data or can it be imported.?

    Developer Response

Dear customer, if you use the app under the guest mode, your measurements will be stored on your phone only, the data will be lost when you uninstall the app or change mobile phones. However, you can export your previous data in a CSV file. Please kindly contact us via email (support@renpho.com) if you have further questions. Our team is committed to finding a swift solution and addressing any issues you may face. Sincerely, Renpho Customer Service Team
  • Not for use with multiple people

The app “technically” allows for multiple people, but setup for it is very hard and important features are missing when I’m guessing it’s a VERY common use case.

What I mean by technically is that your partner can weigh themselves and it does suggest that it isn’t your weight (so at least it won’t mess up my tracking), but I can’t find any way to access anyone else’s metric history but my own. I can only see my own charts and history, but nobody else’s, only their most recent weight. Super annoying.

Also, I’m not sure if this is possible, but the Bluetooth connection forcing me to have my app open when weighing myself is annoying. What would be much better is if the device can store the data on board and then transfer it via Bluetooth when I have the app open once a week or something like that. I usually weigh myself in the morning and don’t always have my phone in the bathroom with me.

I understand that might not be possible, but please at least build functionality for multiple people to be able to track their progress and metrics over time, not just one person.

    Developer Response

Dear customer, thank you for sharing your feedback with us, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you wish to view other's history, you can add them as a friend to your account. In the recent new version, we updated the feature of auto-assigning the stored data to the corresponding profile. If the weight difference between the users is above 2KG, the stored data can be synced to the profile automatically when the scale connects with your phone next time. If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at support@renpho.com. Best regards, Renpho Customer Service Team
  • Old App was Better

I’ve been using Renpho and this app for quite some time. Since the old app was discontinued, and we had to start using the new app, I am less happy. I’d like to have the main weight measurement as the opening scale of the app when it opens it. The round rhenpho scale picture. Simple, I know, but sometimes older is better. The new app is too hard to navigate

    Developer Response

Dear Kembah, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We understand that it may differ from our prior version, but we have integrated additional products that allow users to manage various devices through a single application interface. If you wish to quickly reach the measurement page, you can add a button to the home screen that will take you directly to the measurement page. Please tap the connected device "Body Fat Scale" listed under "My device" or tap the "Start measurement" under the dashboard "Weight" card, it will take you to the measurement page of the body fat scale, then tap "Settings" and then select the "Add to Home screen". We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. If you have any suggestions for how we may improve your experience, please do not hesitate to share them with us. If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at support@renpho.com. Best regards, Renpho Customer Service Team
  • Old App Was Better

I do not like this new app. The old app was way better. In the old app I could add body measurements like my waist or hips. I liked being able to track those. This new app doesn’t even launch to the page I want. It takes a few clicks now to get where I want to be. It’s super confusing. I’m going to keep using the old app for now. Not worth upgrading.

  • It would be better if we can add photos as well

So for I like using this app and the weight scale. It gives adequate measurements. However, I cannot find a way to add photos. If we can add pictures on top of each entry, it would be much better.

    Developer Response

Dear wtsuen, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Sorry our app doesn't support this at present. Maybe you can take a photo and print it, and write the date and weight on it. You can collect these photos in a album so that you can track what you look like at certain weights. Regarding your suggestion, we will also forward it to our technical team to evaluate the possibility. Thanks for your suggestion. Please kindly contact us via email (support@renpho.com) if you have any questions. Best Regards, Customer Service Agent
  • I hate this app

I have the Renpho scale and I recently switched from the old “outdated” app that at least functioned to this.

In the history it has all my weights but the trend is missing several days where the BlueTooth wasn’t connected. Today’s weight is in the history but not the trend while yesterday’s is.

It fails to send data to Apple Health even though I have AH set up to read it.

    Developer Response

Dear Smoketx, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We have released the new version. We optimized the Trends page display in this version. Here are the details: Under the Week view, the trends graph shows a week's worth of measurements. Swipe left or right to switch between different weeks and their corresponding trends. The X-axis represents the dates for the selected week. When looking at the 3-month view, you'll see a graph representing three months' worth of measurements. Swipe left or right to switch the trends for different 3-month periods. The X-axis marks the months in your chosen period. Heading to the Year view will show you an annual trend chart. Make a swift swipe to the left or right to alter the year in view and analyze the corresponding trends. Here, the X-axis marks the months in your given year. In the All View, the trends graph pulls together all your measurements to date, with the X-axis representing the year of the period chosen. If the data won't sync to the Apple Health app, please follow the below steps: 1. After installing Renpho Health App and logging in successfully for the first time, a pop-up will prompt you to ask whether to allow Renpho Health to access all your health data, please tap Allow in the upper right corner; 2. Open Apple Health, enter your profile, tap Apps>Renpho Health, and tap "Turn All Categories On"; 3. After authorization, your Weight, Body Fat Percentage, BMI, Lean Body Weight, BMR, and Height data will be synchronized to Apple Health. Please kindly contact us via email (support@renpho.com) if you have any questions. Best Regards, Customer Service Agent
  • Hate the new up

Old app was great - new one is awful. The trend view is ugly and unusable. I used to enjoy seeing my progress in the old app. Now it’s messy and hard to read, absolutely hate using it. Please reinstate the old app before I ditch this all together.

    Developer Response

Hi customer, Would it be possible for you to contact us via support@renpho.com with additional details about the trend graph problem you met? On each trend graph, the APP will automatically show the Maximum and minimum readings of the chosen period. If you want to view the exact reading of the other data point, you can just tap it, and a small box showing the reading will appear above it. If you tap the data point again, the small box will disappear. Sincerely, Customer Service Team
